Ahh, Nancy, nice scoring there but addition is not allowed. You may read as many as you like, but it's only the highest scoring that counts.

I read The Camel Bookmobile
8 pts - I saw it at the library and I just had to read it, so I borrowed it. It was not on my TBR or wishlist.
4 pts - The title was what drew me in.
4 pts - Has the title in white
3 pts - 300 - 399 pages

Sorry Nancy. The monthly challenges are always for one book. The rules clearly state that you may read as many books as you want, but only the highest scoring book will be counted.

It looks like Fin & Lady is your highest scoring book with 16 points.

That sounds good. I liked it a lot as well and it´s true, sometimes you just need the right incentive to tackle a book like this. I really loved the just because challenge for this as it brought back the joy of reading without having to stick to a list etc. (not that you NEED to do that anyway, but you know...).

Read the scoring rules as "back(s), building(s)". So it doesn't matter how many backs or how many buildings, you just get points as if it was 1 back or 1 building.

Yeah, I read all about that too, it happened after I had finished Wool. However, one of the main things I loved about Wool was how Howey wrote the female characters. I actually think that Juliette, the female protagonist of Wool, is one of the best female characters I have ever read. I know the thing he wrote was completely over the top and very ill-advised, and there is no getting away from that, but the book is very very good and I was willing to just shake my head and enjoy his writing instead.

P.S I hated Ender's Game when I read it, I thought Ender was a horrible character, there was just horribleness throughout that book, IMO. Needless to say, I don't like Orson Scott Card either, there is horribleness throughout him too.
