Ed (EdStout) | 4 comments I wanted to add a Kindle edition to the "Guitar Adventures: A Fun, Informative, and Step-By-Step 60-Lesson Guide to Chords, Beginner & Intermediate Levels, with Companion Lesson-" book (the title actually goes on for a bit, believe it or not).

AFTER adding the edition, I noticed that the book's cover didn't show for the new edition, so I went looking for the problem, and noticed that the two "books" didn't quite have the same title -- the one I added had been altered to "&" from "&". So I jumped to the conclusion that this difference was the problem, so I added a SECOND Kindle edition, but instead of just changing the "&" back to a simple "&", I thought that the single ampersand was perhaps not correctly handled by your system, so I "fixed it" by changing it to a double ampersand ("&&"), an old Unix-style Escape sequence.

You guessed it -- the new edition title showed both ampersands, so it was still different. So I added a THIRD Kindle edition, this time changing the "&" back to a single "&". Now the original and the third Kindle edition had the same name (finally). Of course, no joy on the book cover.

Anyway, I was hoping that I could clean up my foray into book publishing :-) by combining the extra editions. That's when I found out I need to have an honest-to-goodness librarian fix the mess.

So, can someone here help me out?

Thanks,
Ed

Lobstergirl Deleted two editions; here's the remaining Kindle ed.

In the future please link to the book(s) you're talking about. Makes it a lot easier.
