Iris leaned on her staff and looked at her with a raised eyebrow and a slight grin, "up to you, but I have things to do, heads to collect, you know how it is, so unless you want me to stab this staff through your neck, or any other place you'd prefer, I suggest you go away"

"how about a deal." lee offered. "I come from an influential family. I have the cash. How much money will you get from this?" she said truthfully. "I really, and I mean really, don't like that you have to keep killing, but I'm not going to track you down and stop you. Let these three go, the few I do have a chance to save, and I'll pay you for them." Dani grinned as she curled up, but she wasn't smiling at the movie. Her sapphire gaze was on Thundra. She guessed her didn't get a lot of tv, or popcorn, or rootbeer, and his simple joy at simple things was refreshing.
Glenda watched her brother and looked at the time, "where is he..?" She whispered, wanting to see Gildor and hug him. She needed to see him.
Iris tilted her head a little, she wondered how much she could pay, and why it was always the hypno's that were rich, but of course they had it the easiest, a little flip of the mind and a whole bank was theirs, "little girl, you couldn't track me or stop me, nor could you possibly be able to pay me as much as Drakis, you truly underestimate us way too much for your own good"
"i can stop you." said Draco, he was in his draki form, he was relaxed and leaned against a tree with his arms crossed. "i could track you easily."
Iris sighed and shook her head slightly, "again I say, you should not underestimate me, I might not be able to eliminate you yet, but the weakest of the four is down, how long do you think it will take me to get the rest of you?"((personally I like how she just assumes that Gildor was the weakest :P))
"i know of you. you walk and act like a predator being hunted, angry and wanting blood. but it does not matter, i am not prey for you to hunt. i will kill you if you harm those under my protection again." Draco snarled adruptly at Iris, anger and scorn in his eyes "leave with you're tail between you're legs and run back to you're master like the dog you are."((good speech eh?))
(( very nice :) ))Iris grinned at him and sighed as if it was all a joke, "say all you like, but I will not return until I have completed my task, that old fool wont pay me otherwise, and that task was a request for four heads" she thought about how wrong he was about her, and sighed, she could have corrected him but why bother, it would only help in loosing such an advantage
"so you can defeat the weakest of us." lee said scornfully. She really had no idea of any of the others skills, but she figured she go along with it. "is that supposed to scare me? Ooooh, you took down a wimpy little draki. No proof you can take on the rest of us." she smirked. "now, how much? I garuntee I can pay. And there's a ninety percent chance I won't even need to use someone elses money."
Iris laughed at the thought of a hypno draki having their own money, like that was possible, "listen princess, I have no interest in your money, there is no chance a pest like you could compare to Drakis, nor are you doing yourself any good pretending you could measure up to me" Iris sighed and swung her staff around for a moment then calmed herself down, all her life she'd been fighting, training and practicing, she never cared for anything else, combat was her one profession and anyone who tried to belittle that got on her nerves very easily
Glenda looked at Dani, "aren't you worried at all.. ?" Did Dani even worry about Gildor?
Dani raised an eyebrow. "if I got worried everytime Gildor stayed out later than he should have, I would have had a heart attack long ago." she said flatly, turning away. Couldn't Glenda even give het a chance? Her brothers mate didn't even know her and already hated her, just because she had gotten very good at hiding her worry over her brother. "you have no idea what kind of family I come from." Lee smirked calmly.
Glenda sighed, "I'm sorry.. He's just always there.." She hugged her stomach, "I guess I'm not use to being away from him for this long..."
Dani laughed, not unsympathetically. "get used to it fast." she said bluntly. "I mean, he's very trustworthy, don't need to worry about that, he just can't stand being cooped up in one place for too long. He wanders."
She nodded and hugged herself, she hated being in one spot too, but she was staying here for him. She wanted to go out and fly more then anything, but couldn't.
Draco nodded, "we will meet on the field of battle, more than once i believe." then without a word he walked away, as he did the plants bent and their shadows covered him and the ground stayed silent as he walked.
Iris grinned at his last comment, "no, I think not" she didn't care for how he did things but if she couldn't end things in one fight she didn't see a point in fighting, she began walking off in another direction and paused only to add one last comment to Lee "nor do you know what you're up against"
Lee didn't flinch. "go, and leave the others or you will learn exactly how far I'm willing to go to make sure no on gets hurt when I can stop it." she said, her voice icy and gaze steely.
Iris laughed and pushed off of her staff, straitening up and stretching, "talk all you like, I will collect, when I can..." she swung her staff around joyfully then continued walking away with a big grin, things around here were going to become fun, she wondered how long she could drag out catching the last three, maybe there was something about the fourth she could have fun with.Iris soon disappeared off of the path, she'd found a side path to a small home and thought it might be interesting
Lee snarled wordlessly, baring her teeth at iris. It was personal now. "run, little human. Run all you like. Because no matter how far you run, where you hide, I will hunt you down. I will hunt you and I will find you. You are a worthy opponent, but I am a draki. You will lose. And I will not offer anymore deals." she hissed, spreading her wings and launching herself into the air.
((I need the story to advance a bit before I can do anything :3))
Glenda sighed, she felt stuffy and secluded, "I'm going to go for a walk..."Thundra looked at Glenda worriedly.
Glenda headed to the door and noticed her brother's look, "I'll be fine Thundra," she assured him with a small smile, then walked outside.
She walked along the path with her hands in her pockets. She was so grateful for the pants and jacket Thundra and Saff managed to find.
Iris grinned as she saw her first target walk out of the cottage she'd found, Iris followed her for a moment then decided to approach, "well, you seem much better now" she said appearing beside her
Glenda jumped a bit, then smiled when she saw it was the girl from earlier, "thanks to you, I don't think I would have made it back on my own. Thank you."
Iris smiled and walked with her, "It was nothing, after all dieing isn't any fun, you never know what you could accomplish whilst alive" she said thinking about how the four of them might be able to escape Drakis after she handed them over, after she'd been paid, she wouldn't care about them even a little
She nodded and touched her stomach, "as long as I get to see my baby, I'm fine."
Iris looked at her belly a little shocked, 'target 1 was pregnant' "well I suppose knocking you out and dragging you around would be a bit too violent then, care to walk with me peacefully?"
Glenda looked at her, both shocked and confused, "what?"
Iris shrugged and led the way to where she'd stored her second target, "nothing to worry about, you might even be able to take care of the other target, he seemed to have a few injuries"((I feel like her little camp should be at the lake, just in the bushes where she first me Glenda))
((Sounds good))"Target? What are you talking about...?" She asked, getting slight afraid and annoyed.
(( I'll make my next post at the lake :) ))Iris ignored the question and continued walking, "my little camp isn't too far, just up ahead"
She looked the girl over, "who are you? What guy? A camp? What the hell are you talking about!"
Dani suddenly stopped dead. She had happened to glance out the window on her way to get more rootbeer for Thundra, and was now silently thanking every deity known to mankind she had. "Thundra, stay here. Whatever you do, stay in the house." she said, her voice urgent. She flung the door open and rushed from it, feet thudding on the path. She slowed, creeping after Irir and Glenda.
Thundra looked at Saff, "I'm sleepy, can we go home now?"
After dropping Ash off and listening to Sherry tell the couple how to take care of her puppy, they headed to the pride.They walked up to the doors and he took a breath, he wondered if she felt uneasy, since this wasn't even that far from where he had found her camping. She looked over at her and blushed at how cute she looked in the hat and jacket, "you warm enough?" He asked for probably the millionth time.
"Fine." She said in a small voice, scared out of her mind over where they were going. Her breath was coming fast and she was struggling not to manifest.
He noticed her nervousness and hugged her, "I won't let anything bad happen to you, please stay calm," he whispered, worried they might have an episode like at the skating place.
She nodded tersely and took a few deep breaths to calm herself down.
He waited until her breathing had soothe bed before pulling out of the hug. He took her hand in his and knocked on the fair with the other.A voice called down to them and asked what they wanted.
"We're here to see my sister, Glenda.." He called back.
After a moment the doors opened and he released a breath he didn't realize he was holding, and led Sherry inside.
She tensed again and her heart started beating fast. She had to repeat over and over that Kambern wouldn't let anyone take her away to keep from manifesting.
He led her down the path and felt slightly lost, he had never actually walked threw the pride before... But he knew he was going the right way when he saw the hut. He ran his thumb over her knuckles and felt bad at how cold her hand was, "remind me to pick you up some mittens.."
"It's fine Kambern." She whispered back, smiling a little.
