Gildor laughed a little, "don't worry so much, the top has a hood and I'll be right behind you in the shadows to make sure they don't notice anything" he said trying to reassure her
Gildor looked over at the gates and thought for a moment, "if they think your me, they might..." he looked around and thought of an idea, "just go, I'll make sure the doors open" he said wondering if his plan would work
Glenda bit her lip, she had her droughts but she trusted him and demanifested, "it's cold..." She stated wile hugging herself.
Gildor walked up to her and hugged her before handing her his clothes, "that happens when you walk around naked silly" he kissed her and stood back to give her a bit of room to get changed
Glenda slipped into his cloths and looked down at herself, "your cloths are really baggy," she joked. She tried hiding her hair in the hood, but some strands made their way out, "if they don't look to closely I might be able to get away with it..."
Gildor smiled "you'll do fine, just head back to the Hut, I'll meet you there" he said trying to reassure her, he thought about the path and knew he could get her inside, but wondered if he could get her all the way back without anyone noticing
Glenda nodded, "we should go then," she wanted to get inside and warm up, she was still cold even in his cloths.
Gildor smiled and watched her go, he quickly ran into the shadows and up to the gate, he scaled the wall and looked in through the window, he could open the door for her and no one would know it was him
Glenda walked up to the gate and knocked on the giant door. She prayed it would open. She shivered as she stood there, she was worried about the baby being cold too, but her stomach was the only part of her ghat felt slightly warm.
Gildor climbed through the window and pulled the lever to open the door, no one saw him come in or go out, they just assumed someone else had opened the door after they heard the knock
Glenda walked in and walked down the path. She felt people throw food at her, but she tried to ignore the pain. She was almost in the clear when a little girl ran up in front of her, "your not Gildor," she pointed out.
Glenda bent down and looked at the girl, "nope, what's your name?"
"Got!" She smirked.
Glenda looked at her funny, "got?"
"Ya!" She pulled Glenda's hood down to revile her long red hair, "got-ya!" She girl giggled.
Glenda heard everyone gasping and was frozen in fear. One if them mentioned Gildor, then wing clipping, and Glenda dashed to the hut as fast as her legs could carry her.
Gildor had watched the scene unfold, he didn't know how to stop the little girl, but he was able to distract everyone else, he had ran into the street and it seemed to have grabbed everyone's attention, they started yelling his name in disgust and throwing threats of wing clippings as he ran around naked, 'at least Glenda got away safe' he thought as he ran back into the shadows to follow her
Draco twitched uncontrolablly from the shadows. he had watched it all without interfearing and it had cost him. he growled a silent curse as he felt a familiar prescense come from the earth. he sent a ripple to Nick, a silent but clear warning not to start a fight, then started towards his adopted brother and friend and prayed that Nick didn't start anything without him there.
Kt wrote: "Dani grinned and crossed her arms, though she followed him. "since when have I ever done what I'm told?" the rebellious teenager said, though she did follow him. Once outside the dancer ran a few steps and did a forward flip, no handed. Having danced since she was a little kid, she had amazing flexibility, agility and balance."Gildor smiled as she ran about doing tricks, she'd gotten a lot better then he remembered, "you don't need to do what I tell you, but you're not coming to investigate the other pride if you don't, now I'm heading back to my Hut, you're welcome to come but we wont leave until, at the earliest, tomorrow morning" he said thinking she wouldn't want to come near his Hut, no one in their Pride ever did, it's half the reason he hadn't seen her in so long
Dani grinned. "sure. Let's go!" she bounced along after him, then suddenly frowned, stopping her movements. "wait. You think." she said slowly, piecing it together. Suddenly she laughed in relief. "oh, that's all it is?! Gildor, I would have visited you. Trust me. I had to visit the human realm, and I ran into a few, um, problems." she said, avoiding mentioning what those problems were.
Gildor kept walking but glanced back at her, "problems that you will be telling me about" he stated feeling suddenly protective of his little sister, he wouldn't want anything to happen to her and he knew it, "ether way we have other problems at the moment, these draki are no laughing matter"
Dani raised an eyebrow, turning to look at him as she quickly caught up. "hey, I can take care of myself." she protested, cartwheeling until she was next to him. She went into a series of backflips along the path, landing and immediately launching into the next, grinning at him the whole time. After a dozen she stopped, dizzy. "You should know by now. I'm fast, and excelled at that kick boxing unit Dad pushed us into. I took some more classes, and now I'm even better at it."
Gildor glared at her for a second not liking how invincible she thought she was, "and you haven't been in a serious fight yet, these draki could rip your throat out without a second thought and all you'll be thinking of was how good your stupid flips looked to any one who was watching" he picked up his pace trying to calm down, he hated how people gave away their lives so easily, he knew these enemies, he'd fought them and no matter how much better she'd gotten since he'd last seen her, he knew she wouldn't beat them so easily, nor would he let her try especially if she wasn't willing to rip them or slice them to pieces
"They can't be that bad." Dani protested as she paused to wait for him, her emotional weakness coming into play. She had that rare ability to see the best in people, no matter what they had done, and she pitied them, believing nearly everyone to be simply misunderstood. "I mean, I know there are those that are, but not everyone who seems evil is, surely?" She continued. She did know that some people were that bad, and when she was angry, or truly believed them to be that bad, she had no problems in a fight.
Gildor walked past her knowing they were almost back at the Hut, "it doesn't matter what they're like, they're a threat and among them is a Hypno draki, I just know there is, and if he's got control of some of them it doesn't matter how nice they are, a Hypno draki can get into your head and make you do anything he pleases"
Dani frowned, looking distraught. "Then we can't hurt them!!" She protested, running to get in front of him and stopping, crossing her arms and glaring at him, her position preventing him from walking straight ahead. "They're innocent victims! They don't want to fight us, we shouldn't hurt them!!" She said, her voice getting higher and angrier with each word.
Gildor stopped infront of her and looked down at her, "wrong again, if we don't 'hurt' them, then they will not stop, they will keep coming until your mercy gets us all killed" he said trying not to make 'hurt' sound to much like kill, but he knew how deadly a situation like this could be, "it's one of the first things I studied, don't tell me they just left it out when you started your lessons"
Dani stopped dead and just stared at him, her stature and gaze very deliberatly neutral. "You know how my lessons went, Gildor?" she asked softly, looking up at him. "once they figured out I was good at what they taught, they were proud. Until they brought in one of those prisoners they keep to teach the newer ones, like I was. And when I refused to hurt him.... Well, you know what they were like. Every day after that, they kept trying to trick me into hurting him. And it didn't work. But then I noticed they used a different person every time. A little investigating, I found out they just killed them after my lessons. So the next time I did kill him myself. And they sent me on a mission, and I left. So I have a very good idea of what they say about me, my mercy, and my personality." she finished, half staring half glaring up at him. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest and glanced away, studying a leaf as it fell to the ground.
Thundra walked along the path in a sweater and jeans. He was looking for Glinda since she wasn't back yet. It was cold out and the kid was worried.
Gildor didn't look away from her face, he knew the kind of training she'd been through, but she never knew how far they had taken him with his training, "and that's why they gave me the mission, you wouldn't be able to handle it, they didn't give me that Hut just to separate me from everyone else..." he started to explain when he saw Thundra walking around behind Dani."Thundra! are you OK?" he asked quickly sidestepping around Dani before she could stop him to continue her questions and complaints, he stopped in front of Thundra and knelt down in front of him to get eye level with him, "what's up bud?"
Thundra sniffled, he had started crying, "I can't find Glenda.. And it's to cold out here for her.." He hugged Gildor, "I want my sister!"
"hey, it's alright, I'm sure she's back at the Hut wondering where you are, come on, let's go find her" he said lifting Thundra up to carry him on his hip with a supporting hand, "Dani, are you still coming? You don't have to but the mission doesn't change if you do, a threat is a threat"
Thundra looked at the girl and smiled threw his tears, "hi!" He loved meeting new people. He looked back to Gildor, "but.. I just came from the hut.."
Dani swiftly sidestepped her brother, kneeling slightly to get to Thundra's level. "Hey kiddo!" She smiled. With her personality, she loved kids, and they loved her. She tapped the tip of his nose in a friendly way, attempting to cheer him up. "Don't worry; she'll turn up. Let's go check the lake, and then we can go down to the park." She held out her arms and gently scooped him up, extracting him from Gildor and placing him on her own hip. "Let's go. Gildor, you check the park. If you find her, well, we'll check at the park after the lake. You check the lake after the park to see if we found her, ok?" She turned and started down another path, telling Thunrda. "I'm Danielle, but everyone calls me Dani. What's your name?" Over his head, she shot Gildor a look. *Don't you dare leave without me!!*
Gildor had disappeared by the time she turned around to look at him, he was standing in front of her in an instant, "Dani" he said calmly, "please put him down" he knew that Glenda was already upset, so he wasn't about to upset her even more by leaving her brother with someone who was a complete stranger to them, "if you wish to split up, that's fine, but I would like to take Thundra here back to the Hut, we can check the lake and the park after he's safe" he said keeping his voice calm and friendly so he didn't scare Thundra
Thundra looked at Gildor curiously, "am I in trouble?" He asked, thinking he had done something wrongs and that's why Gildor wanted him at the hut.
Gildor smiled and took Thundra from Dani to let him stand on his own, "no, no, not you bud, I think it's me and my sister there who might be in trouble" he said with a grin hoping to make him smile, "now come on, lets see if Glenda is back at the Hut yet"
Dani's glare was frigid as she looked at her brother. "didn't you hear him?" she said sarcastically, crossing her arms. "he already checked there. Do you trust him as you trust me, which is obviously not at all?" she whipped around and stalked down the path, emanating ice cold fury.
Gildor ignored his sister for a moment, he figured she might just be on her period or something, he'd noticed that girls seems to get a bit more crazy at her age rather then when he last saw her, "Well if you knew where the Hut was then you could go check the lake and I'd be able meet you there if Glenda wasn't at the Hut, but you don't know where it is, no one should know where it is, which is what scares me about these rouges" he said trying to think a plan through in his head, they were almost at the Hut now but it was still impossible to see until you walked into the clearing infront of it
Thundra looked up at Gildor, "I'm cold,." Even though he was a water draki, he still wasn't use to being so cold.
((They could find him and she could freak out at Gildor before fainting into Saff's arms? That's all I really got... Any other ideas?))
((Ahh))Glenda could hear people talking, "Saff, do you hear that?" She managed to whisper, her body and voice trembling.
