Who do you think would make the best Hokage?

In my personal opinion Naruto himself is bit too much of an idiot to make a good Hokage, though he does have make other positive attributes such as determination and a sense of justice.
However the Hokage carries the weight of the village and cannot simply rush off into battle as Naruto is prone to do.
Thus I believe someone like Shikamaru would make the best Hokage as what he lacks in raw strength he makes up for with brilliant tactics ,at least when considering the youngsters only.
From the old generation I think Kakashi sensei would be the best choice.

I agree with you in the respect of Shikamaru's intellect, but he doesn't have the heart to do the job right. He never fights to the best of his ability purely because he's too lazy to put effort forward, and I feel as though this would be a colossal flaw in his leadership. Though he is great at commanding missions, I feel as though he'd be much more fitted to be the Hokage's advisor, as Shizune is and Shikaku used to be. The Hokage is supposed to be the strongest in the village- and I think that title goes ultimately to Naruto.
Also, keep in mind that Naruto is only sixteen years old. He's incredibly powerful, has very powerful words, and has a deep sense of compassion for everyone he meets- he's also very committed, and would probably do the best job as Hokage for sentimental purposes, if nothing else. By the time the decision to decide the next Hokage comes around, Naruto will probably be much more tactical when it comes to battle and will be a much better strategist.

Naruto. Just because he's fun and has gone through a lot. Sasuke could, too. But he still seems a little cold and much too stern to be very well-loved.
Sasuke is committed, as well, however he's not half as positive as Naruto and just doesn't have that great of a a background. I truly believe that the revenge factor is still a part of a his life, even if in the smallest form, just because it's been rooted in him since young childhood.
And Shikamaru and Kiba.... Perhaps not as preferred but undoubtedly good choices.

Naruto is obviously the strongest and if you've been following the manga you'd know what I mean but he is rather dim. He also isn't much of a leader as he prefers to rush into battle instead of thinking things through. I think if Naruto did become the hokage he'd probably have Shikamaru deal with all the technical stuff for him.
I think Naruto would be, yes he's and idiot and is not smart but his believe brings people together. He is also really strong, he puts other first.
