Okay, so since he is a poor mutant, where would he live?

Well the East side is where rich people live and the west side is where poor people live. If he pretends to be a human than he can either live in the East or West side.

If he is not afraid to show he is a mutant than he is either in the Mutant Keep, or in a house in the forest.

Yea, but i don't know about mutant keep, than she have to act human infront of humans but not in the BEEs
