I have a small self-published book. It is posted on my website for free and also available on amazon for 99¢ in case readers prefer e-books. I'm not trying to make money and I'd like more people to read it, so I never mention the amazon edition without also providing the link to the free version. It has only sold about a dozen copies on amazon, which is fine with me, but it has had over 12,000 views on my website and I'd like it to be a lot more than that. It would be appropriate for this group, so I'd very much like an authors section.
From time to time I also write interesting articles on my website that would also be appropriate here, so it would be cool to be able to let people know. My website is totally noncommercial and I never ask for or accept donations. But I can't afford to advertise and many websites aren't open to anarchist or radical writing, so an authors section here would be really useful.
I would, if only to keep self-promotions out of the other threads.
I'm down with that. I do a lot of writing, especially around labor and neighborhood organizing and prisoner rights. It would be good to share with and get feedback from like-minded writers.Peace & Solidarity!
All of my writing is centered around anarchism on both personal and political levels. I'd benefit from an author section in regard to my own work and others'.
Cool! Sounds like there's a lot of interest. I made a folder and came up with some guidelines based on those suggested in the Moderator Support Group. Feel free to suggest different guidelines for self-promotion and we can figure out what works best for this group.Authors and Artists Space
