Awesome! I'll open up a "Final Thoughts" discussion too. I'd love to hear all of your thoughts.

Kit Kat I loved this book! I love the originality of it and I can't stop reading because I just want to know what will happen next.

Grace (gdaminato) | 520 comments I just finished the book today. I enjoyed it very much. It's like reading a very long succession of short stories that are linked by an underlying theme. David Levithan seems to understand very well that there is no such thing as a typical 16 year-old.

Picking up my copy from the library tomorrow!

Scarlett (scarlettakasher) | 3 comments I felt it was a perfect pick for a YA class as a librarian. This story will make students & teens think about their preconceived ideas they have about other people. It offers the true meaning of walking in another person's shoes. I love the fact that it covers just about every issue you can think of that teens will & do encounter & wonder about: race, sex, gay, love, etc. I would encourage it to be a 'one book, one school' reading, as well as required reading for education and library & information sciences majors. It would also be excellent as a choice for the subject of writing. Have students write an entry or entries as the main character or extend the writing of one of the characters.

*Layali* (layalireads) | 95 comments After the first two chapters, I was completely hooked. I didn't realize how thought provoking this book would be. I love that it feels like a collection of short stories. It's different! Really excited to finish in the next day or so.
