I take different parts of my personality and amplify them and then add whatever needs adding. So when I RP as them I can just focus on that and it'll work as different people.

Like, put a little bit (or more than a little bit) of a part of my personality into my characters. So far I have to admit that out of all the stories I've ever written, counting RP I think Arien is the character I most identify with. She's a LOT like me.

Lol cross Ben and Josh and you basically get me. Eric is nothing like me and Gabriel is a small, tiny portion. Mostly Ben actually now that I think on it.

Huh. Well Arien is most like me personality wise I think. Of course, it's not like I'm waving around swords and fighting monsters (ALTHOUGH she hasn't actually had the chance to fight any monsters yet, lol)
