I have not heard any updates regarding the Dzanc ebook for W&M. We've been waiting for it for a while, but perhaps we can let it rest until it happens. Meanwhile....It would seem that many clever readers have found themselves in possession of a copy of W&M and are planning to read it in 2014. I overheard Aubrey mention March as a good time for her to begin reading. Anyone else?
Is there a need for a reading schedule this time through? We had about six of us reading last year without a schedule and it all seems to have worked out. But, if you'd like a schedule, feel free to offer one up ; or request one.
Just chime up or chime in ; the chapter threads are open for your pleasure.
My copy is on its way, and I have the pdf version as well...I was thinking Feb or March, so may join in the others, but tend to just plough ahead at my own pace. I have it and Actress ready it go, so am looking forward to a good Joe-filled start to the year.
I'm likely going to start (and hopefully finish) W&M later this month, as I want to start Miss MacIntosh... in February with the MMMD group. But that's likely going to depend on my appetite for another large book so soon after finishing Joseph and His Brothers next week.
FWIW I highly recommend the McElroy a Contemporary Fiction Review and the LeClair essay in The Art of Excess as supplemental materials to a reading of W&M.
