My name is Anthony Hill, an Australian writer of 17 books for children, YA and grown ups over the past quarter century. The main ones are The Burnt Stick (1994) and Soldier Boy (2001).
I'm glad to have found this group as the classic books have always had the greatest appeal for me both as a writer and a reader. Yesterday I posted an article on the discovery of how influential A.A. Milne and the Christopher Robin poems were on my literary style. It was quite unconscious and I was amazed at the discovery.
