Suddenly, Winter saw a monster coming out of the forest.

Nick sighed and took his daggers out. He threw one and aimed for the monster.
The monster fell over, took one look, and ran away, before Winter even got the chance to do anything.((am I allowed to do that?))She pressed against Nick. "Thank you for saving me."

Bax had never driven a chariot before, but it looked dangerous. So he figured it would be close to the funnest thing he'd ever done. Bouncing up and down on his toes, he zipped towards the stables to pick out his horse. The scent of fur and manure hit him the moment he stepped inside. The 13 year old wrinkled his nose, and looked for someone that might be in charge.
Garnet had never been to the chariot track before, but after some friendly urging from her half-siblings she'd decided to head down and check it out. It was mostly deserted, though a few people were moving around tying up chariots or polishing wheels.
Sarah Jane knelt before a chariot pounding out some of the dents.
Garnet scanned the area for someone to talk to, and spotted a girl who seemed about her age near one of the chariots. She headed towards her, skirting the track.
She stood up and her hammer changed from a hammer to a wristband.
Garnet watched and waited as the girl stood, and then approached her. "Hello," she greeted her.
