Isabella thought for a second, then a huge grim crossed her face. She slung her arms across the two boys' shoulders " OK I'm in. WHAT ARE WE WAITING FORRRRR!!!"

Verte walked up to the chariot track. His hands in his hoodie's pockets.
((Sorry, I had been trying to figure out who this post was for!))Haruhi grimaced at the chariot. How was he even meant to use this thing? Glancing up, he saw a boy walking his way. "Uh, excuse me! Could you give me a hand, if you're not busy?"
Verte smiled brightly. "Yepsie Dopie! Whadda you need help with?" He went over to the chariot. It was a nice chartist, but sorta plain.
He paused. "I need to get on it." he said thoughtfully. "But it's really high. And then... I really don't know how to ride a chariot."

Verte rubbed his chin. "Well, to ride it, you, ummm..." He really just winged riding it. "I can get on it with you and show you." He suggested.

He nodded. "Yeah, that might be better." Haruhi grabbed hold of the chariot and tried to hoist himself up, to not much avail.
Verte hopped onto the chariot and held out a hand. "What can you tell me about yourself?" He asked, "I'm Verte, 17 and son of Euphrosyne." Verte still had a smile on his face, as always.
He smiled and took his hand eagerly. "Kuri- ahem, Haruhi. I'm fifteen, son of Hecate." Using his help, he pulled himself up into the chariot.
"Nice name! Now, what you have to do, is pull the Thing-A-Ma-Bob here. Then push the button til' the lights flash?" He said, not sure of himself. This was going to end badly.
His face froze. "Ah, I see." Oh damn. He had to ask the boy with less of an idea than himself. "Right, how about you start?" Quickly, Haruhi grabbed tightly onto the front, preparing for the worst.
Verte nodded, "Okay. You turn that then th-" He was interrupted when the engine turned on. "This works!" He said. Now, to get it moving...
Haruhi's face was white. "You know, I don't think this is a good idea anymore. Maybe- OH MY GODS NO!" The chariot took off at a blinding speed. "What did you do!?"
Verte looked up, "I just pushed something!" He looked at the track speeding below him, "If I die, can you tell my moms I love them?" He asked. "Also, you can have my hoodie."
"That's fantastic but can you stop this thing!" He scowled. "Move." He eased past him and started pressing. Hopefully something might work. "If I die I swear..." he grumbled. But despite his reservations, Haruhi did have to admit that this was exciting. He let out a laugh. "This is ridiculous but I love it!"
"Let me look." He said. There were buttons but none had a big red sign that said 'STOP'. He picked one at random. "Oh look. Turrets." He said.
Haruhi let out a whine and crouched down, slapping at more buttons. They let off numerous things, but none stopped them. He was sure one even sped them up! "Verte I thought you could drive this."
"I can drive a car! Well, I did fail the drivers test 6 times..." He pulled a lever and that brought out cup holders.
"Why do we have cup holders? Why am I surprised by the cup holders?" He sat and pressed himself into the front of the chariot. "We're going to be killed for this- that is if this thing doesn't do the job first!" ((Do you actually know how to stop the chariot))
((Not really. I say that they end up stopping it by pressing a random button.)) Verte ran his hands trough his hair. "Why are there so many buttons?!" He yelled.
"This is a chariot why does it even have buttons!? I never understand this place! I'm all for t- ugh" The chariot sped over a bump. "-for technological advancement but this is ridiculous!" Haruhi reached for the buttons again, but cried out as his arm was slammed against it as the chariot went through a dip in the ground.
((I have no clue what's going on, I don't remember the chariots at all. I've been hoping Mamie knows what she's saying.))
((It's the Hephaestus chariot, so it's all mechanical.))

Haruhi gave him a dirty look, but then sighed and laughed tiredly. "No one thought to hit the red one, did they?"
Verte shrugged, "At least we pressed it eventually." He said. He wiped his forehead. "We weren't going that fast." They were only 100 yards from where they stared.
His face flushed. "Well it felt faster, didn't it?" He hopped off of the chariot, stumbled, and started heading away. "I'm a bit dizzy, do you want to go get something to drink?"
Verte nodded, "Thar would be nice." He said.
He led Verte over to the side and dug around in his bag for his water bottle. He held it out to him. "Just air sip."
Verte took it, and held it above his mouth. He put it down. "Thanks." He commented.
Haruhi fiddled with the water bottle. Now that was over, he wasn't sure what to say. Which was rare for him, since he always had something to say. "So, son of Euphrosyne, eh? I can't say I've heard much about him. What was he the Goddess of again? I'm sure it was something impressive, judging by your... erm, way with chariots."

He blinked. He didn't think that he had said anything out of place, but... "Three?" he laughed. "That must be one heck of a mother's day!"
Verte blushed, "Yeah, I have Euphrosyne, my mom, and my step-mom." It was an insane Mother's Day.
"Your dad must have a hard time too! My mother doesn't really enjoy getting gifts and being spoilt, but my brother always makes her breakfast in bed whenever he's home." The chatty boy frowned. "I'm not sure what you'd do for a goddess.
Verte shook his head, "No dad. I'm the only boy in my house."
"Oh," he held up a finger. "well as the only boy, you must remember to leave the toilet seat down, it's only polite." All his nosyness told him to ask what had happened to his father, but he held his tongue for now. "My mother is the only woman in the house, but we still leave it down for her. Once, my father left it up, and boy did he pay."
Verte laughed, "Yeah. What about you?" He asked. Verte shuffled his feet.
"Like, family. Anything interesting?" He asked.
He squirmed. "Not really, I'm originally from Japan, though. We moved here because of my father's car business. My mother- though I suppose most kids that go here would call her step mother- works in real estate. They're very busy people, so I don't see them a lot. I usually just bother my uncle." Haruhi shook his head. "Its all pretty dull."
Verte smiled. "It sounds nice. How'd you get claimed?" He asked. He enjoyed small talk a lot.
"Ah. That." It was only a few weeks ago, he didn't feel up to talking about it, but then again, he didn't want to bore Verte. "A man started going on a rampage in the language classes I take-" his face burned. "Yeah I still take english classes, my accent is still very heavy, and it takes a long time to learn. Some thing I still don't understand, like your sayings and greetings and school websites. Anyway! He attacked my teacher, and then ran at me. I was scared, I ran. He was strange, he looked different from a normal person. I ran for a while, and he nearly got me but my teacher suddenly appeared! Apparently he was a satyr, something I never expected." Haruhi shrugged and smiled. "So here I am. I think they've just finished repairing the damage to the building."
