In anticipation of the release of my latest novel, I'm going to be doing a series of author interviews on my blog, along with interviews from hitch-hikers, 'professional travelers,' transients, and an individual making a documentary about them. I'm definitely interested in authors who write about very specific topics, so if your writing fits into this category, this is a GREAT chance for you to get some very targeted exposure!
I'm looking for literary fiction (not genre fiction: romance, sci-fi, etc) that deals with: Travel, depression, and/or addiction. Think 'On the Road' by Jack Kerouac... actually, anything by Jack Kerouac, anything by David Foster Wallace, anything by Hunter S Thompson. Do you want your book to either remind readers of these authors, OR outright dispute these authors? Or both? Good. You'll be perfect.
It's also cool if you ARE a traveling/ addict writer, or write about writing under these circumstances. Or write about writing, period.
