Elizabeth (merelyreading) Sign up here for the Read Along in September.

I'm going to be reading Lone Wolf, and may add in House Rules later on if I have time, once I've finished my challenges.

Maddie (shoegirl81) | 20 comments I'll join in!

I think I will start with Lone Wolf and if I have time after that, I will read The Storyteller.

Glad we are doing this, her books are great for group reads.

Right, despite my negativity, I've just picked up Lone Wolf to give her one more go. So am in!

message 4: by Lauren (new)

Lauren I am in! Not sure which pick I will do yet but possibly more than one including those mentioned!

PS. I should have said, Thanks Elizabeth.

Lauren Lone Wolf is my pick to read. FYI Change of Heart is an amazing read for any Jodi first timers!

I was in town yesterday, and saw a few of hers in the library (all in hardback so I didn't borrow, as I hate hardbacks!) but was still intrigued by the awful choice of book covers. They are so uninspiring and cheap looking for someone who apparently is turning out "proper" books.

May order on Kindle in fact, so I can ignore the extremely annoying and off putting covers!

Bobbi Jo (moon_petal) | 34 comments I already read Lone Wolf. I'm curious to see what the rest of you think about it. I think I will try to work in The Storyteller for this one.

I'm not quite there yet, but have edited this read to bring it up the list a bit in case anyone wants to get started.

Joy Stephenson (joyfrankie) | 463 comments I read Lone Wolf today in one sitting - I couldn't put it down. I found the characters convincing and thought the author succeeded in giving them each a unique voice. I liked hearing the story from different viewpoints too. I did guess (view spoiler) but that didn't spoil the story.
This is the first Jodi Picoult I've read so I'm pleased to have found a new author.

message 13: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (merelyreading) I shall be starting Lone Wolf shortly. Having a couple of days off reading :)

I'm intending to read My Sister's Keeper in the next few weeks.

Lauren Just finished Nineteen Minutes which ranks as one more that I love by Picoult. The book came highly recommended to me by my mother and she proved "mother knows best" to be true! The book was a long read (455) pages but I found myself devouring it rather quickly. I highly recommend this book to both Picoult lovers and those who are just giving her a chance! There is something in this story that everyone can relate to as the characters are described in such real life ways. It is not a chick lit book as I have heard her style referred to as before. There is actually a great deal of mystery in the story that keeps you guessing from page one. 5 strong stars!

Elizabeth (merelyreading) The Jodi Picoult read along book thread is still open. We have just had a tidy up of the home page and marked Lone Wolf as read, in order for the Group Read books to show up. But the read along is still running until the end of December.
