So, I have pretty much decided that Trent Ford would be the most perfect Edward.

Some idiot leaked it onto the internet, a very early version of the first 12 chapters. you can look at stephenie's blog, she's very angry and isn't going to write anymore. she thinks that if she did she'd probably kill off all the characters. So, she's not publishing it. At. All. Which totally sucks.

I read all the books with James Franco in mind as Edward. Now I can't picture Edward any other way!!

I think Robert is PERFECT for the part. In my opinion he is amazingly handsome and perfect for the part of Edward.
Whenever I read the books, I picture James Franco as Edward. He has such a great smile and bone structure. Very handsome. Looking forward to seeing the movie no matter what!

I don't mind Robert for Edward as long as he is convincing in the movie, but I will still always have my own vision of Edward in my head! :)

James Franco is hot but i can't see him playing Edward, you know he's going to be in the new Nicholas Sparks movie 'Nights in Rodanthe'
I like Kristen for Bella beacause she fits the description perfect. She is all awkward and clumsy looking anyway. So I think that she is perfect for the part. lol. But I don't think that anyone else could have played Edward better then Rob.
Ok, so I know I said that Trent Ford would be perfect as Edward, but after seeing the final Twilight trailer, I have decided that Robert Pattinson IS Edward. He is going to be great!!!

I can't imagine anyone but Robert as Edward now but I agree Orlando Bloom is equally handsome and almost sparkles on his own. He's one of my favorite actors but I don't think he could pull off the animal side, the dangerous villian look. Edward IS both and battles thirst constantly and spent a few years killing like a superhero and he is aggressive and confident enough to make other guys not want to approach him. So I can't see Orlando being anything but kind and daring.Someone mentioned Steven Strait earlier but I saw him as Jacob, never Edward. But I LOVE Taylor as "early" Jacob. Steven might be good for older Jacob in New Moon/Eclipse/BD. As far as the Bronze hair, they've done well with that interpretation. Rosalie's hair is supposed to be down to her knees too but that would be tough.

no offense tho but could u plz consider that ur opinion about robert isnt the only rite opinion out there so could you please stop saying he is the best actor out there cuz he maby is or he maby isnt but i would appreciate it that you would consider other ppls opinion about who they like for edward.thank you for considering my comment

ive seen trailers and clips from the movie and the scenes and conversations and where they take place dont even match up with the book. i think that Kristen as Bella is horrible cause she isnt really that good an actress in my eyes. she never says her lines with emotion. its like shes a robot and shes reading
