I have no amount limit, rather money limit :D I just look at the sum and it seems a bit too much. It changes though, so it's not really the all-time-never-to-cross line :DAnd I'm a promo hunter, especially with ebooks, and since I like trying new, unknown books - Amazon and Smashwords are my places ;)
I usually just check all of the books that I read out of the library, then I buy my favorites. That way I never spend too much...at one time :P
It depends. If they're all books in a series that I need to read, no amount is too much. But if they're all brand new books/series that I still have to learn about and grow to love, more than 3 is too much. Before you go all crazy it's only because I know if I get more than that I'll never get to them all.Okay, story time. So one time in 6th grade, the time of year had come around for the school book fair. At the time I hadn't read a book in like 2-3 weeks. So, yeah, I was not in my proper state of mind. So when we got the flyer I don't even remember how many books I got. All I know is that when I got them, and I held them stacked up in my arms, I had to tilt my head back to see. And everyone thought I was crazy. Which was understandable since while I was walking away with them I kept giggling like a mad woman...
I read like 4-5 books a day, sooo... Yeah. Going overboard for me is a little difficult.

LOL not quite, Magda, just a lot of time to spare and I tend to read books really really fast if they get interesting 'cause I wanna know what happens next. Time slowing machine would be cool, though! I wish I had one!
