Taylor frowned when Alice pushed her back but didn't protest. "How was Josh taking it?"

"We haven't seen Josh for a while now.... He when to get some rest and he probably out in the field again." She sighed rushing some of her red hair out of her face.
Taylor nodded, still frowning. She felt bad for Josh. "Do you think that he'll find her?" She asked, wondering Alice's opinion on it all.
Alice shrugged. "The way Finn tells the story, Charlotte is probably caught..." Alice took a deep breath to calm herself. "But nothing going to stop Josh found finding her. Those two...." She shakes her head
"I hope he can. whatever they're doing to her can't be good." She might have came from that side of town originally but now that she was helping the rebels the government wouldn't do anything good to her. "Is anyone going with Josh?"
Alice shook her head. "Your father barely let him go by himself. One life isn't worth the risk but you know Josh he wouldn't stop instill he knows Charlotte is safe."
"Knowing Josh he probably would have gone either way. I hope he finds her though. Whatever they're doing to her....
Alice nodded knowing she was right, she knew that whatever Charlotte was going through was probably bad. Alice hoped to god Charlotte was already dead. "She charlotte, she will bounce back once we get her hope.." Alice told her trying to keep everything up beat.
Taylor nodded, hoping that Alice was right. She still felt weak but after hearing this news wanted to get up and start doing something. She wanted distraction.
((You know what I just remembered, Finn gave Josh a piece of paper from Charlotte))Alice saw that she shared the news too soon. "I will be right back." She told her rushing out of the door to Luke' lab. She knock on the door to the lab and without waiting for an answer walked it. "Luke..." Luke looked up at the sound of his name and seeing Alice's face he already knew what happen. He jumped down from his stool and ran to the med room. "Taylor?" He called as he walked it.
((Oh I forgot that.))Josh hadn't gotten far from the base when he stopped, leaning against the building to pull out the note. He looked around to make sure he was alone before reading it.
Taylor smiled when she saw Luke. She was glad to see him. He'd become a really good friend to her. She was still sitting up and opened her arms for a hug. She was alive....and feeling much better than she had for days. "I think it's working."
Luke hugged her, holding against his chest like if he let go she will just disappear. "That's great." he replies slowly pulling away after a few more moments. He brush his hair out of his eyes, he needed to get it cut but hasn't had the time too. "You look better." ((And Now I need to remember what the note was going to say))
The note was written in a quick sloppy handwriting but the words held meaning that shown Charlotte had taken a lot of time to think about what she should say.
Dear Josh, so much to say in just a few seconds. Finn and I are hiding out in a old forgotten home where I got this odd feeling that I was going to just be forgotten. I told myself it was a silly thing to think but it didn't help much. I wanted; no needed to tell you I will be leaving Finn and the cure and going off on my own. There government officers after us and we can not be afford to get caught. Finn will go down in the history books as the man who brought back the cure while I will be the forgotten girl who just helped get it. But I guess that is the way it should be. Oh Josh I miss you so much, every time I close my eyes I see you. I cant remember your laugh exactly and it scares me. But no matter, Josh I am asking you not to forget me. Don't do anything stupid or dangerous like come after me. Just take care of Brave for me. With Love, Your Charlotte.
Taylor hugged him back. She was still weak, it would take some time to get her strength back up. He frowned when he read that last part. "Sorry Charlotte....looks like I'm doing something stupid but I can't ust leave you there." He muttered, folding the paper up and putting it back in his pocket
"How do you feel?" He ask her sitting on the edge of her bed a little tired. He gave her a smile trying not show that he did need rest. Right now was all about Taylor, he was just so glad to see her up and about.Footsteps came running up beside Josh's building. "Josh!" A voice yelled sliding to a stop in front of him. The person who had caught up to him lean over with a deep breath. "You walk fast." They breathed out before looking up. "Anyways did you think you was goiong on your own?" Finn said looking up with a determined look.
"Tired." She answered honestly. "It'll probably bee a few days before I'm completely back. But I want to help again as soon as I can."
He nodded. "Well you will have to rest a couple days before getting on your feet but we can use the help." he said guessing that she wanted to help as soon as possible.
She nodded. "Has my dad been in?" She asked him, guessing me might have come by before she woke up. Josh frowned when he saw Finn. "What are you doing here? I can't ask you to come with me." He said as he put the note back into his pocket. "If you get caught too..."
Finn shrugged. "You will need back up and beside I owe it to Charlotte." Finn said and started walking down the road. "She is my friend too." He said as an afterthought"He was in when you got the cure." He told her with a nod. "I should go tell him you are up." He said thinking out loud.
"Thank you." Josh said, giving his friend a smile. "You know...the note, she told me not to come after her. To do anything stupid but...I can't just leave her in there."Taylor nodded, she did want to see her dad again. This must hae been hard on him while she was in here.
"Well now she can yell at the both of us. Beaide how much trouble can we get in to?" Finn ask with a wiggle of his eyebrowsLuke got up with a nod. "I will go find him." He said disappearing into the halls.
"Thanks Luke." She said before he left. She still felt tired but was going to stay awake for this."Thanks Finn. Char is going to be pissed at us but I'm okay with that. Where did you guys get separated?"
Finn smiled at little at the idea of Charlotte doing it before saying. "We when through your guys old neighbor and we got split up." He answers thinking about itLogan came back with Taylor father. Her father was so happy to see. "Taylor!" He said rushing to her side
"alright. Let's start there then." He said, heading in the direction of his old home. He wondered if his parents had even noticed he was gone considering the fact that they were never home and often left for months at a time without even a call.Taylor hugged her father though she was still weak. "Hey Dad."
Finn followed behind him more slowly, he was still a bit tired but he would make it just fine. He would do this just fine for Charlotte. "Do you think you will run into anyone you know?""You feeling better?" He ask looking at her with concern
"Hopefully not." He bit his lip. "I don't want to have to answer questions about where I've been. I just want to find Charlotte and get back to the base."tired still. Weak. But better than the past week."
"Do you ever wish you werent a rebel?" Finn ask with glance at hom. Not much is know about Finn's history or why he became a rebel but he knew he wouldn't give it up for nothing."You have me scared there for a long time. Of it wasnt for Charlotte or Finn....." He sighed drawing a hand across his face.
"They told me Charlotte was missing...." Taylor said, frowning. "What....what's going to happen now?"Josh shook his head. "At first it was hard to get used to. A big change for me but now....Now I'm glad to be making a difference,"
"Josh and Finn when after her but she been missing for so long..... I do not know. This is about the first rescue mission the rebels ever had and to be honest with you honey if they did find her I do not think she would be the same Charlotte." Nick didn't want to tell his daughter this but he didn't want to give false hope. There was nothing worst then false hope.Finn nodded. "I agree, I was scared when I first came to the rebel. I was into some bad stuff and then the rebels found me and ask me to join them. I was lost at first wondering how someone like me with such a evil past could ever be good but I slowly working towards the good future." He said thinking out loud slowly working through his thoughts
Taylor was frowning but she nodded, understanding. She hopped they did find Charlotte though. Even if she was different after being a prisoner at least they'd have her back. They could help her.Josh looked at him, realizing how little he knew about Finn. And yeah, he was curious after that but he didn't want to push it. If Finn wanted to talk about his past he would.
Nick sighed rubbing an hand down his face. "Also we planning a huge move agasint the government. We found a hidden base that we think we can destroy. " Nick spoke in a low whisper as if someone was going to over hear.Finn looked around them with a frown but he soon pushed past his thought with a smile. "One day I will tell you my story but it is such a long one. "
