SOLVED!: possession by evil quilt? [s]

I am trying to track down a book I read about 10 years ago. in it, the main character began having dreams about, or becoming possessed by, an antique quilt. I think I recall the quilt was made by a slave woman in the pre civil war south, and she was pretty angry...
any ideas?

I read something similar to this, the woman bought the quilt for her antique shop, and it started affecting everyone who came into the story, not in a good way. Unfortunately I can't recall who wrote it or when I read it!
