I found that I liked Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows the best but Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets come second for me.
It's certainly difficult to decide on a favourite however I understand why you may have chosen the second one. Nevertheless, if the decision was forced upon me I'd probably say Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows as well.
Harry potter and the prisioner of Azkaban is my favorite.. Moony and Badfoot .. it's like the time before anything went really bad

Harry potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban is by far my favorite book. Sirius is my favorite character and I loved seeing the transition in Harry's eyes from being seen as a murderer to a friend and godparent.
Difficult choice..I would say Goblet of fire,Prisoner of Azkaban and the Epic Finale Deathly Hallows!!!

I personally loved Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but I think my all time favorite is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
My fav was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which comes into a close first with Deathly Hallows. Both great books.
My favourite book is either Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Askaban or Harry Potter and the Order of Pheonix because i love the relationship between Harry and Sirius! Of course the last one is awesome, well actually they're all awesome.
My favorite Harry Potter book would have to be Goblet of Fire, but Chamber of Secrets is a close second
I really love The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix: Things really start to heat up and He Who Must Not Be Named has a strong, menacing presence.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire still holds the crown for best book in my mind. It always has. :D
Order of the Pheonix - wept buckets when Sirius died. Enjoyed Half-Blood Prince but thought Harry was a bit thick not to work out what was going on, and loved the denouement of the final book - though sad to reach series end :((
