Jane George | 2 comments Hi and hope I'm asking this in the right place,

My book, The Mumbo Jumbo Circus needs separated out from one edition of my book, X-It. I attempted to combine editions and this happened. I'm still uncertain how to correctly combine editions of a single title. The window will only allow me to combine separate books, which is definitely not what I was trying to do.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jane George

I separated X-It from The Mumbo Jumbo Circus and combined the paperback edition and the kindle edition of X-It with each other.

If you accidentally combine books you didn't mean to, you can separate them by clicking the link "separate" after the book title (next to "details" and "edit").

Different editions show up in the combine page as separate books until they've been combined. If the edition has been combined with a wrong title, you have to separate it before you can combine it with the right one.

Authors cannot do this. They can combine but not separate.

Jane, it looks like you were trying to combine editions that were already combined.
