Bryce shook his head. "I... Don't know..." He rasped. He looked up and over at Natalie, his vision improving slowly. He sent another ball of energy at her, smacking the girl in the knees.
Bryce stared. It worked? Maybe this was his chance... As fast as he could, Bryce made his way across the ground and latched his hand onto the girl's leg, secreting a paralizing toxin as he had on Jake.

His bubble reappeared, and the chunks were mostly fended off... Except for the few that actually hit him. Those he turned to jello. He crawled back over to Natalie on the floor, and took his shirt off. He used it to cover her eyes. Could she hit him if she couldn't see him?

Bryce smirked as he heard the whistle (thank you voice projection). A guy had to do what a guy had to do...
He used pretty much the last of his ability by turning the pieces of the stage she destroyed into jello. It was something that was pretty easy to do, and it was effective. By now he had used it so much Bryce's hair was clotted with the sweet-smelling stuff and it was slowly beginning to drip into his eyes like strawberry flavoured sweat.

Bryce began to panic. His hands flew up to his throat as if there would be hands he could pry away. After a couple moments of gasping to no effect, Bryce went to his knees.

Bryce choked and his eyes shut tight as he tried to will the invisible bonds away. Needless to say, it didn't work. The frustration built up inside him angrily, making him feel about to explode. He had NOT come this far to lose to... Natalie. This was not right. He hadn't won anything in his entire life because he was always the one who submitted to make everyone happy, and it wasn't going to happen again.
The next thing that happened made his ultimate move very, very public.
The effort came with a growlish noise and a thin but violent wave of blue energy washed out from his aura, smasking everything in it's path with it's magic. The floor turned to water (except for directly beneath him, of course), the walls to jello, and like which had happened on the night of his dream, little rocks with legs popped up everywhere and scurried long on a mission. A couple slipped into Natalie's clothing, but it didn't hardly matter. A hummer ball of neon blue light encompassed her, zapping her with little arms of static to make her hair stand on end and scorch holes in her clothing.

It took every last ounce of strength in him to leave the stage with dignity. When the elevator dinged, he was leaning against the wall tiredly. A break would bring him back a little...

Bryce sighed deeply and gave him a smile. "Thank you Jake." He staggered out of the elevator and sat down on floor heavily.

Bryce fell onto the bed with a tired mph and closed his eyes for a moment. "What would I do without you?" He said with a small smirk and then rolled onto his back to stare at the ceiling, fingers laced over his stomach.

Bryce nodded quietly. "I know... miss Natalie... She was tough..." He wiped some jello off his face and grimaced.

Bryce began to laugh. It was a very rare thing for him to do. Bryce turned over so his face was in the mattress, his shoulders shaking. "I didn't mean it like that." He really hadn't.
Bryce looked over at him, suddenly conscious he still wasn't wearing his shirt. It had been inconveniently turned into jello. He raised an eyebrow, not sure whether he was serious or not. "Huh?"

"Uh," Bryce turned again onto his back and he shrugged. "Nothing really.... At all." It was depressing really.

Bryce made a face and nodded. "Of course I have. I mean, at least I think so... What do you mean by sexually?" He frowned a little, lost.

"Oh, oh..." Bryce cleared his throat and took a deep breath, not really knowing how to respond. Needless to say, he hadn't been given the Talk, and he was private schooled (tutored half the time) so he had never been able to talk about it before. "I uh, not really... I mean, a little, but no, I don't... think so. Not quite to that... Extent."

Bryce sighed yet again and looked at him, somehow not flushed at all despite the embarrassment of the question. "Alright... And kind of... I mean, I haven't been around him that much, but kind of yeah."
Bryce made a face at him. "I mean that... I do, but it only gets so far before I just... Stop it." That was one amazing talent he had. "Plus I can control my hormones, so that helps." He smirked.

Bryce blinked at him. He had never thought of it that way... "I... Don't know." He said slowly. "I guess I just don't want to get too carried away..." He was afraid... He was certain no one could love him. He had been told that often enough. "I never know what to do around him. I can't be easy. I'm always... Polite." Just like he had been taught to be.

Bryce smiled a little at him. "I can't do that." He said quietly. "I just... can't." His parents had plagued him with psychotoc nonsense, planting a guilt about being simply human inside him. Guilty pleasures were just that to him - guilt. Nothing else. "No one... Would like me. Especially someone like Julian..." Especially someone so perfect.

Bryce nodded and stretched his arms above his head. "Okay... I'll try. Thank you Jake." He bit his bottom lip for a moment. Could he really do that? "Now I have you I might have to fire my counselor."
