Bryce curled up under the covers and sighed.

Julian wrapped his arm around Bryce securely as he began to feed Bryce.

At first he frowned and looked at Julian as if he was crazy, but then wrapped his sleepy head around it. "Do you think Arthur was right?" He asked after a moment.

"About what?" Julian asked breaking an eggroll in half for the both of them.

"How... How we should get to know eachother better?"

" Well... yeah of course... what? You having second thoughts about us?"

"No," Bruce said quickly, shaking his head. "No no no. I just... I've been thinking about it and we really don't know anything about eachother..." In truth it was kind of bothering him.

" Well ask away, i've got nothing to hide." Julian said getting dressed in boxer briefs and a baggy black shirt.

"Kay..." Bryce thought for a moment. "What's your earliest memory? Of when you were a kid?"

Julian was silent for a moment but decided to tell him his nicest one he had. " My Aunt Kelly took me to me to the zoo, then the ice cream pallor, then we watched movies till I fell asleep."

Bryce smiled a little and nodded. "Sounds nice," he said. "Remember what kind of ice cream?"

"Cookie dough." He echoed thoughtfully. "Cool. I like that memory."

" Anything else?" Julian asked playing witha bit f Bryce's hair.

"Mm," He thought about it. "Would you rather be able to fly, or be invisible?"

" Hmmm i can blend into shadows so... fly."

"You can do what?" Bryce stared at him.

Julian decided to sow rather then explain. Getting up off the bed he found a shadow on the wall and comeptly disappeared in it.

Bryce couldn't help but jump, suddenly and for some reason anxious for him. "J..." He swallowed. "Jules?"

Then suddenly Julian appeared behind Bryce using his shadow. " Hey Brycey."

He nearly fell off the bed since he was so close to the edge. "Darn it, Julian." He never swore. "Trying to kill me?"

" Nah.." Julian said as he began give him a shoulder rub. " Just trying to get you back in the mood."

Bryce hung his head down so his chin met his chest, letting out a deep breath. "Okay..." He murmured. "I trust you. But that shadow thing was freaky."

" Sorry, you asked is I could go invisible and that's what I can do."

"No, I asked if you would rather be invisible," He said. "Or fly." He raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "But it's cool. I like watching your powers anyway."

" Damn Bryce did you live in a bubble?" Julian asked playfully messing with his hair.

Bryce shrugged a little and looked away. "Kinda. I think. It's hard to know until you're out of it."

" The godfather is a movie about a crime family in New York City that ends up ripping itself." Julian said slowly taking of Bryce's shirt again.

"Oh." He nodded and gave Julian a small smile. "Sounds interesting. I don't know much about movies."

" The I got alot to teach you babe... got anything weird you like to ... like sometimes I liked to jog in the woods with nothing but socks and shoes on."

Bryce blinked. "Huh? Really?" He suddenly grinned. "That's... Weird alright. I couldn't imagine you doing that..."

Bryce, still stifling his laughter, flopped down onto the bed. "It's just... Funny. I never even considered jogging naked." And he jogged a lot.

Julian just gave alight shrug. " I know but its a lot of fun..."

"I'll bet." He grinned again. "I don't think I have a habit as weird as that..."

Julian gave a small toothless grim and nodded. " Yous should join me sometime."

Bryce raised an eyebrow and tilted his head side to side. He was a wee bit too modest for such sport. "Maybe. If there aren't too many bugs."

" Couldn't you just make the air in a bug pollutant."

Bryce frowned a little as he considered it. "Maybe," he said slowly. "I can't say I've ever tried. I guess sometimes I just forget about my... Talent." Well he had lived without picking up the clues for petty much his entire life, so that was no surprise.
