Bryce looked back at her blankly, then smiled just a little in an apologetic manner he didn't even know he was using. "Did I do something...?"
Bryce sighed a little and his knee bounced up and down. "I'm sorry. I just don't know how to be open. It doesn't... Come naturally to me. But... I guess... I like Julian." He finally spit it out.

Bryce raised an eyebrow, his mouth quirked into something of amusement. "What are you saying? We don't have much in common?" That much was obvious.
Bryce shook his head. "I'm not planning on trying to keep up." He said it simply and quietly, then turned to look out his window at the sky. He knew Julian probably didn't like him in the same way, he was probably even straight. He liked him a lot, and he wished, but he wasn't expecting anything to happen. No matter how much he wanted sparks to fly, he wasn't hanging on it as more than a dream.
Bryce glanced at her. "Which will be never." He said, a sober expression on his face. Flirting? Nu uh.

Bryce stiffled a scoff and shrugged. "Can't do it." He said quietly. "I... Can't. It's not in me. I can't get within ten feet of the guy without turning into a curtiousy encyclopedia."

Bryce was quiet for a long time. Then he leaned over a little so he was close to her. "Teach me?"

Bryce was quiet, leaning over in his seat to look at Julian. His stomach lifted with butterflies just watching him sit there. "Yes." He said, certainty in his voice. "I'm sure."

"Sounding like his butler." Bryce answered immediately, letting out a heavy breath. "I can't be easy around him at all."
Bryce shrugged a little, slowly. "I... Don't really have much sense of self. Sometimes I feel like I'm a robot. I guess I just get so nervous around him my manners take over. I... Think he would like me if he knew me."

Bryce began to blush but his powers worked to smooth his complexion again. "God Rachael," he said, the dogtags beneath his shirt vibrating in embarrassment. "Hot? Really?"

Bryce looked away, but the tags began to click together beneath his shirt anyway. He put a hand ontop to still them, and then looked back over again with a resolute and very much robotic expression. "I assure you, pleasing the crowd with my body was not my intention."
Bryce stopped. "Huh?" He blinked. "I'm not a bot..." He frowned, had he done it again? Damn it... It was such a reflex it was almost his dominant personality.

"Oh." Bryce smirked a little and leaned back into his chair. "I see. I guess I'll have to work on that."
Bryce's eyes opened up and he looked at her. "Woah," he said. "This is getting oddly personal..."
Bryce made a face and shook his head. "Funny." He said, smirking just a little. "You're a riot."
"How come girls always seem to know how to flirt?" He suddenly asked. "It's like you're given a manuel or something guys don't get."

Bryce huffed and didn't respond, knowing it was another joke. "Crack another one," he said with a grin. "And I'll turn your clothes into jello."

Bryce smirked and nodded. "Alright." He said, the paused before suddenly continuing with; "You won't tell anyone will you?"
