"What's this?" Bryce frowned at it and turned it over in his hands curiously. He was haging trouble seeing things... Everything was blurry since he got that acid in his eyes. Rachael's healing liquid hadn't helped either...

Bryce raised his eyebrows and nodded, rubbing his eyes. "Cool. Maybe I'll take Sam and Julian with me." He smirked at him.

Bryce's smirk twisted into a small laugh and he shook his head. "No, Jake," he said patiently. "I was kidding. I would rather have you and Julian along." He paused. "Are my jokes that bad?"

Bryce hung his head and nodded. "Yeah," he said morosely. "It was my first try at one anyway." He glanced up at Jake. "You're all right with that? Or... Or maybe I'll get you and Sam, not Julian... Do you think that would be awkward? I don't... Know..." Suddenly his eyes dulled and he yawned deeply, fighting to stay awake.

Bryce stared at him. "No," he said, very seriously. "I can control my hormones, remember. I promise it will not happen."

Bryce stared after him even as he left. "Is that what YOLO means?" He called, then grabbed his jacket and followed.

Bryce gave him a dark smile, laced with a distant but haunting mystery. "Maybe if you were raised to be a robot," he said quietly. "You wouldn't be so quick to suddenly become human either."

Bryce nodded resignedly. "I know, I want to, I just..." He paused. "Every time I break one of their stupid rules, even when they're not here, I panic. I think about what my punishments would be and... and it makes my heart feel... Funny." It was anxiety, obviously. "I want to... Trust me. And I try..."

Bryce lookednat him searchingly for a moment, then nodded again. "All right," he said. "I'll try that."

"Alright," Bryce nodded and flashed him a smile. "Thank you again Jake. You're the best." He stopped in the doorway.
((I'm just not sure where I am? We were in the arena box, and I don't know what his 'room' implies. Is he supposed to go back to his house or go stright to dinner?))
((Mmmm. I don't want to go into detail though.))
Bryce left the stadium, his fists in the pockets of his brown plether jacket. He wandered back to his home, somehow reverted back to normal by now. Of course his door was unlocked; he didn't have a key yet. But Victory Hill seemed prettt safe anyway... something he hadn't expected.

((^.^ Alrighty! Do you want to reply with Julian/Jake/whoever's side, or should I just jump to it?))
Bryce's home was quiet. His old one had been as well, but this was a different kind of quiet. It was personal and it was welcoming. A reminder of a change in times. He sat down on the end of his bed and kicked his shoes off. He remembered what Jake had said about fantasizing about Julian, and it made Bryce nervous to consider doing it... It was a little scary, just because of how he was raised. He was raised to be emotionless, fake, a mask, nothing else. Could he possible imagine things like this? Was it innocent?

Bryce sighed deeply and stared into a corner of his dark room. He would try... Imagining Julian shirtless was the first step, then pantless... He shivered and hugged himself, his powers automatically working to control his hormones.

Bryce had a vivid imagination. That helped. A lot.
He got undressed and redressed into his pajamas.
His bed felt awfully big... He needed it to be more full... Warmer.
There was a certian amount of pleasure that came from his thoughts... It was different.

Bryce was always at home in a pair of dress shoes. They weren't the fanciest he had even worn, but he knew the brand. His clothing wasn't the most expensive either, but it didn't matter. You can always tell a man by his shoes, Bryce. Bryce's father had always worn the stiffest, most expensive shoes he could find and his mother wore heels slim enough to make Cinderella jealous. Whenever he could get away with it, Bryce wore trainers but he was often forced into his dress shoes. Very often.
But he felt better tonight. Thinking about Julian in that way had helped... Somehow he felt more confident. He would show him he wasn't a robot, he would be a little more emotional this time...

It didn't take him long to find the dining hall. He walked in, hiding his nervousness as usual as he scanned for familiar faces.

Almost instantly, all his built up confidence withered away at the sight of Julian. Oh God... Maybe it would be safer to just leave... No matter how much he wanted to be beside him... Dammit he didn't even know if Julian liked him back!

Julian gave Bryce a " Sit with me if you want" Look before before waving to Sam who gave him a bro nod back which Julian of course nodded back.
((I think so. That'll give them more time))
Of course Bryce accepted. However, he hesitated... But only slightly before walking over and picking a seat next to Julian. "Hello Julian." He said, one of his small amd charmingly polite smiles on his face.

Bryce blinked. "You watched?" He said before he even got a chance to think about it. Stupid... "Oh, I mean, of course you watched. Everyone was there... I just didn't think you... would be. Although obviously you did, of course..." He rambled, not even realizing how idiotic he sounded until he finished speaking.
