The quickest way is to provide a URL on your add book request here (as long as it's from a Goodreads-approved source, like the publisher, author's website, or Amazon). Alternatively, you can upload it as a photo to your profile. Just make sure that your profile is visible to Goodreads members, not just your friends.

Incidentally, I believe doing so will allow you to upload your own covers without a librarian's assistance, at least initially. Changes after the book's creation might have to go through a librarian.
