Well, 50 Shades of Grey is a movie, so the precedent has been set and the bar lowered to the point this makes perfect sense.

Is it still being made into a movie? is was being produced in 2013 and still nothing so like I NEED MORE DAEMON
so what i got from the internet was that it is going to be a movie and it has a screenwriter, but there is cast yet and supposedly it was definite yes in feb. 2015
I really hope this series isn't ruined like Vampire Academy was :(

And 3 years later we still have no news about the supposed movie. BTW, guys, I don't know about you but the cover models are old for the roles. Don't get me wrong, Pepe is a very handsome man, but he doesn't look 17. I wouldn't be happy to see him roam the halls of a High School pretending to be a teen.

They should turn Covenant series to Movie not this one. Because covenant is more normal. They don't need huge effects. But this one needs. I'm very scared actually :(

In 2013 the author said someone had been in contact over making a film. Nothing has been mentioned since and it's been like four years. I think it's safe to say, there will be no film, it's must have been dropped.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw a social media posts of hers from late 2019 where JLA said the movie wasn't happening anymore and the book rights were sold back to her. Honestly we should probably be glad, because you KNOW it would've gotten messed up by Hollywood, and I would be so heartbroken by that. I just discovered the book this year but they already mean so much to me.
