After reading for a while, she turned back to Sadie. "So what do you think of it?"

Connor shrugged and stared at the grass. "Yah, well, you just seem like the kind of person would have straight As and always do what she's told. Nothing like a juvenile delinquent like me," he said, looking up and cracking a smile.
He laughed. "Wow, it's possible to do both? That must take a lot of skill."
"Aw, stop showing off!" Connor whined. Back when I went to school, my mom would throw a party whenever my brother or I got better than a C."
He stiffened a bit when she put her arm around him, then relaxed. "Yah, well, in second grade I got kicked out for 'accidentally' letting all 17 class tarantulas loose in the principal's car."
"Actually, SHE scheduled an appointment with my mom to suggest that we get checked for severe learning disabilities. She thought we were retarded because we never knew any if the answers. Truth was, we just never paid attention." He laughed. "Funny. I can't believe I still remember that."
He smiled. "I think you're giving me too much credit. I just couldn't do most of the subjects, especially math. I'd spend ten minutes staring down at a problem trying to remember what 9 times 4 was."
Connor nodded quickly. "I know right!!! I mean, seriously, it's like math and English had a baby sent to torture us! Like.. Manglish or something!"
He rolled his eyes. "Thanks, Miss Encyclopedia. I still like Manglish better."

"It's origin is me, which automatically makes it ten times better then any other name, especially some Arabic one." He grinned.

"No, no, I got this!" Connor pretended to think, tapping his foot and rubbing an imaginary beard. "You're... Rebecca, right? No wait! Wanda!"
"Darn! I though I was close! Alright, so if its not Rebecca or Wanda... It must be Lucy!"

"Quiet! You're throwing off my thinking vibe!" Connor said, pointing at her accusingly. "Not Lily-san... What about.. LILY PAN! I'VE GOT IT! Wait.. That's not it... Lily Can! Lily Man! Lily An- oh snap! it's Lily Ann!!"
After finishing a victory dance, he looked down at her and grinned. "Aw, don't give me that look! I knew your name the whole time!"
"Are you kidding? U do victory dances all the time!" To prove his point, he started to dance around her in a circle. It was comprised mainly of jumping, skipping, spinning, and wildly flailing his arms.
He grinned and started skipping in circles around her. "That's because I skip like a man!"
"If we were going to frolic in a field, then mission accomplished!" he laughed, then stood against the tree. "Oh gods, I am SERIOUSLY dizzy right now.."
Connor laughed and hugged the tree for support. "The world is SPPPIIIIINNNNIINNNGGGG!" he sang loudly with his eyes squeezed shut.
"China should be thankful for the opportunity to hear my beautiful voice." He cautiously opened one eye, then the other, but didn't let go of the tree.
"Maybe the nymph likes it," he grinned, winking at the tree. Nevertheless, he let go and stumbled over to where Lily Ann stood.
"No, no, I can do this!" he said, shrugging off her arm. "Let me be manly!!"
He grinned. "Of course not! I was man skipping!"
"There is now!" he said brightly. "Maybe I should get it patented."
He wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Who would want to wear a suit? They're so formal and uncomfortable looking."

Christian blushed even more and ran through the feilds singing...

Elvira was following him, clutching her stomach. She really should stop laughing, but it was too funny.
He glanced at the singing kid, then back to Lily Ann. "And you think I'm ridiculous? Anyway, formal is stupid."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You're the one with the encyclopedia collection!" he exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air.
He laughed. "Are you kidding? I didn't think anyone even owned ONE encyclopedia, let alone a collection!" ((Brb))
Mimicking her, Connor looked up and cried out to the gods above, "Maybe because I'm normal!! ...To an extent!!"
"In my defense, you have called me 'not Normal' several times before!"
"Yah, weirdos rule!" he shouted, holding out his hand for a fistbump.

((Haha, totally not your fault! I get confused on a regular basis :P))"No, it's not an ACTUAL rule, I just me-" he stopped, and grinned. "Never mind that. The rule is that all weirdos must loan money to their weirdo friends at any given moment, and never expect to be paid back.
Connor blinked in surprise. He hadn't actually expected her to buy it. "Uh... sure. But first, can I have ten drachmas?"
"Actually, rule number 17, which I have just recited, clearly states that AT ANY GIVEN TIME the money must be handed over," he said smoothly. "Regardless of whether the money holder is in possession of a handbook."
Despite the fact he was a D average student Connor was a quick thinker. "The Weirdo Society is not determined by handbooks or shiny badges, but by the weirdness of heart," he began solemnly. "You have proved your self worthy, so you are officially part of the group. And to differentiate ourselves from the normal people, we have a secret handshake."
"Etiquette?" he laughed. "This is the WEIRDOS society! Naturally we must have a weird handshake!"
He rolled his eyes. "Badges, handshakes, whatever. Can I have my money now?"
He sighed. So close! "Right, sorry. Badges are much better. NOW can I have the money? Uh.. Please?"
He gasped, money forgotten. "You.. Resign? From the Weirdo Society! How could you abandon me like that?"
He faked sniffled. "I don't think I can ever trust a person again. Who knows when they'll turn normal on me?"
