Dakota saw Lence get all defensive, and while he thought about tickling her again, he had a much better idea. "Lence, sweetness, come here." Dakota crooned.

Lence refused to move, so Dakota pretended to let her slip. Smirking he said, "Better hang on Lence, I have had another camper test my grapes - he probably thinks I am certifiable insane now, which of course is absurd - and he said they were great! You know what that means!"

"Oh my gods, that was fun, don't you think Lencey?!" Dakota said, eyes crazed from the adrenaline. He laughed at her scream... Oh, the expression on her face was priceless!
Lence almost forgot about the whole vine thing for a second. "'Lencey'?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Don't you like it?" Dakota teased and even threw in a pout for good measure.
"Seriously?" Lence's eyebrow raised even higher.
"What, you don't like it? I can always come up with another!"

Dakota ducked, missed the rock by a hair, and turned around and started running backwards as he smirked at Lence, "You missed, babe."
"I wouldn't say so!" Lence grinned. Dakota was about to run backwards into a tree.
((Oh my goodness, I was seriously just going to make him run into a tree! *snaps fingers* you must be a mind reader ;) )) Needless to say, Dakota felt the tree before he saw it.

((True :D)) Where was she getting all of the rocks? Why on earth did she insist on throwing them at him? Why was the bird flying around in the sky? Dakota was in pain, now was not time for such severe thought. "Lence, not the rock! It could hit the bird!"
Lence was so startled by the stupidity of his statement, she didn't throw the rock.

Lence rolled her eyes, even forgetting to facepalm.((Yeah... Sure...))
"Lence, Lencey! It's coming closer to say hi! Don't throw a rock at-" Dakota passed out before he could finish his sentence.
"What the-?" Lence ran over to check his pulse.
Dakota was still thinking deep thoughts about birds, and how they flew away, but sometimes, he thought, they flew towards you. Birds were much more understandable than... oh, say girls. Mainly Lence, well and Meg too.
"Uh, hello?!?!" Lence banged his head with a rock. ((She's no daughter of Apollo, that's for sure.))

"Insulting?! You know, someone else might just find them endearing." Dakota said and smirked as he grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back. "There we go. All better. Now I can still keep my pretty face."
