He chuckled. "But your not too bad looking for an Aphrodite kid, you know." He said, laughing.
"Oh, really" she laughed, despite herself
He shrugged. "I give you a nine." He joked, grinning.
Her mouth opened into a big "O". "Is that how you're going to play it?" She asked, laughing and hating herself for it."Lying to yourself, huh? I hear it's not good for you. Detrimental to your health." She managed with a straight face.
He chuckled. "I never lie, chickie. I just withhold some truth, but never lie." He said, grinning.
She laughed "well, your withholding at least a 1 worth of truth. Even I'd score you higher than that. At least a 9.5. Let's be real, Danny." She teased
He laughed, "Whatever you say." He teased, smirking
She smiled, real big. "This is a start of great friendship Danny, if you keep succumbing to my peer pressure that easily, we'll get places, son. We'll get places." She teased, flinging an arm around his neck.

Penny had gone quiet for awhile listening to them talk. "I'm a daughter of baubo," She butted in, with an excited smile. She had gone quiet listening to them rate each other. She wondered what she was.. "Hmm.. I say the boy is a 7.5," Penny said, then looked at the girl. "An 8.5," She added. a small smirk was on her lips. She had gotten distracted and never caught their names.
He scoffed. "7.5? Are you mad?" He joked, slightly offended.
"8.5?" She repeated, shocked. "Well, since we're all about to get our feelings hurt," she started, her hand clutched around her heart area, pretending to be in pain "let's stop with the rates and move on." She finished. "Maybe to something less..." She grasped at her skin where her heart is under "painful" she said, with an sharp intake of breath.

Penny giggled looking back at the boy. "Nope," She replied. "But my girlfriend is," Penny added with a wink. Penny wasn't into to boys. And she was actually homosexual. He was handsome, but not in a lovey way. More like a 'I don't care, every boys the same to me' type of way. Meaning 'mad' Penny's girlfriend's mum was actually mania, the spirit of insanity.
He faked a breath of relief. "Good, I thought I was losing my touch." He joked, grinning

Penny bit her lip looking him up and down. "Hmm.. you could deserve some pink," She admitted, "Then maybe you could get an 8.5," Penny added, putting the head back on.
"Yeah, Dan, where's your pink at?" She teased.
Penny giggled and took of the head again. "I know!" She pulled out a pair of pink cat ears out of it, then placed it on his head. "Better.. but still not worth an 8.5," She said stepping back trying not to laugh.
"Yeah, I agree with you Pinky" she wrinkled her nose cutely. "That's barely an 8. It's missing something..." She gasped and pulled out something from her backpack. Her sunglasses. she placed them on Dan and stood back to observe. "Perfect" she whispered
Penny shook her head no. "No.. Missing one more thing," she said, the walked behind the boy and clipped a pink cat tail to his jeans. "There, not that's an 8.5!" Penny exclaimed walking back over to the girl and giggled. "Fabulous."
He looked at the stuff. "As much as I know I look unbelievably good in pink..."He said, taking off the ears and tail, "Sorry girls, but this guy don't dig pink." He said, chuckling

Penny's happy face turned to a dark frown. "You're a disappointment to the color pink," She whispered. It was a little creepy how she did that. But maybe Penny should stop learning from her girlfriend.
Seraphina couldn't hold it in, she burst out laughing. "Good Gods, you guys are hilarious" how she got herself into this mess, she didn't understand, but, hey, they'll be as good friends as any.
Like a rubber band snapping back into place, Penny went happy again. Which was.. still creepy. "I am a daughter of humor!" She said, crossing her eyes, giggling. "Hey, I never got y'all's names," She said, looked back and forth from them.
He raised an eyebrow at her first comment. "Um..okay..?" He said, creeped out a bit. "Um, my names Daniel." He said
"I'm Seraphina and you're Penny." She looked to Daniel "you getting a sense of déjà vu?"
Penny giggled, "Nope, I spaced off so I never caught your names," She replied. "By the way, how old are you guys?" Penny asked. She looked quite short next to both of them.
Daniel nodded. "Same here. How old are you?" He asked
Seraphim a looked expectantly at Penny. "Somewhere between 16-17" she thought
No wonder she looked short next to them, they were much older. "15," Penny replied, brushing her light pink hair out of her face as she put the head back on.
He nodded. "Nice, I suppose." He said.
"Cool. How's the start of puberty going for you?" She asked, remembering her time as a teenager. "Wow" she thought, realising what she had just said "you seriously don't have to answer that. At all. Don't consider it. Why did it even come out of my mouth? Oh, my cousin once asked me that" she said, remembering her cousins first text to her on her 15th birthday. No 'happy birthday' or 'you're fifteen! Have a great day' not even a 'good morning'. Just "how's puberty going for you?"
Penny had gone quiet in the furry costume. She even was extremely still. "Uh..." She squeaked finally, folding her arms across her very flat chest. Inside the costume Penny had made a funny face, like she didn't know to be offended or not.
Seraphainandecided to change the subject from her messed up family to anything else. She pointed behind Pinky. "HEY LOOK A PINK FURRY UNICORN" she screamed, with all of the excitement she could muster
Daniel raised an eyebrow, confused. He admitted, "How is puberty going for you." Was kind of...a wierd thing to say. But not the wierdest hes heard.
Penny stayed quiet, trying not looking behind her, "Dancing on rainbows?" She asked, then giggled.
"YES!! AND IF YOU RUN, YOU MIGHT CATCH IT, BEFORE IT FLIES AWAY ON ITS SPONGEBOB RAINBOW FARTS!!" She screamed.
Penny snorted and fell over laughing. "Oh gosh! I may act like in eight, but I'm not falling for that!" She said in-between gasps for air.
"Damn it" seraphina mumbled. "So close" she lied to herself
Daniel was now beyond confused and he stared at Penny, amused.
She looked at Daniel. "Awh look at him, all confused-like. What did you do without me before?" She said, with a grin that would make Hercules proud.
((Idk where that came from but I'm going for it. Yay Hercules. ))
He shrugged, grinning. "I actually understood the things I was told." He said, laughing. ((Lol))
She laughed "I cannot imagine that. Do I unwire your circuits?" She teased, not understanding a single thing she said.
His eyebrows knit together together. "Huh?"He asked.
"Yeah, I don't get it either" she scrunched her face up cutely.
He laughed. "No on does, anyways." He said, nudging his shoulder with hers.
"Haha, mechanic speak kills me." She said. Then, almost whispering, she added "I try keep my distance with the Hephaestus kids"
"Penny," she repeated. "Pretty" she said with a grin.
