Marco opened a baggy full of blurry or mess ups and put the photo in it. He got a glance of him and saw the bruise had vanished, he also saw dark hair and his blue eyes, he averted his gaze and fixed his glasses.

Chandler finished flipping through the pictures before closing the binder and handing it back to him. "They're really good."
Marco smiled "Thanks," he said taking then slipping it into his camera bag.
Chandler smiled lightly at him. He felt his cheeks est up a little bit with a blush and turned away.
Marco looked at him with a curious look Was it something I did?,he thought.
Chandler hated that he was shy. It made him hide his feelings, even the happy ones. He was starting to really like Marco and it scared him.
Marco knew Chandler was shy, but after living with the bubbly and outgoing Em whom he lived with for a year or so. He wasn't very used to it but he had a understanding of it. Marco pondered on it for a bit.
Chandler was unsure of what to say to continue the conversation without being awkward. He subconsciously started tapping his fingers against his knee.
"So not to sound rude but who old are you?" asked Marco with curiosity and well because he might as well know seeing as he didn't want to be that creepy gay with a crush on a younger boy.
"cool." Chandler replied, shyly.He's my age and he seems to like me.. He though to himself, he's probably not gay though... or this is all a joke...
Marco realized he had been watching Chandler and looked away blushing lightly "Yeah," he said.
"Can...can i.. um.. ask you something?" Chandler asked nervously and shyly. He wasn't sure if he should even ask it, bu he wanted to know.
Marco looked at him "Go ahead," he said with a slight nod wondering what the question was though he had an idea.
"are-- are you.... gay?" Chandler asked, slightly quietly and stumbling over the words.
Marco made a false face of disgust to see his reaction then it faltered "Yeah I'm gay but I've never had a boyfriend only a few school girl crushes here and there," he said nodding with a rose color brushed along his cheeks. Hm maybe he is too, I wonder what brought him to ask it, he thought.
Chandler felt a flush of relief go through him. "me too..." He said quietly.
Marco smiled "Don't worry it's safe with me, one homo to another," he said.
"Most people already know...." Chandler replied.
Marco tilted his head "Well if they treat you any differently then a straight person they can take a detour to hell," he said.
"Not everyone treats me differently, the one who do just happen to leave bruises." Chandler mumbled.
"Is that how you got hurt?" asked Marco even though he already knew the answer.
Not meeting his gaze Marco asked "Can I give you something?" To be honest he wanted to make the people who hurt him hurt worse but he would not, for Em, because gods she taught him not to and in her honor he wouldn't.
Chandler looked at him curiously. "Umm.. yeah... I guess."
Marco reached into his bag and pulled out a smoke flare, he kept them around out of habit. "If they do it again, set this off and I'll try and get there as fast as possible," he said, "Uh you might want to cover your mouth and nose for this part." he added.
Chandler nodded and put a hand over his nose and mouth.
Marco tore the top of it off wish was a little twist and tosses it at a nearby tree, it exploded in a cloud of red smoke that instant rose into the air above the tree line. He was used to the smoke and had explained how to use it, the reason why Chandler had his mouth and nose covered was because the smell was a tad foul.

Chandler watched the red smoke until it was mostly gone. "That's cool." He said. "Where'd you get them?"
Marco shrugged "I forgot, but please take one I don't want those idiots hurting you, your not hurting anyone of anything," he said quietly.
Chandler nodded. "ok..." He replied. "Thanks..."
"Sorry that came off a little strong, I'm just used to protecting someone..." Marco mumbled looking at his bag for a moment.
"It's fine..." Chandler replied. "I'm not used to having someone want to protect me..."
Marco looked up "Well now that you know me try and get used to it because once I find someone in need of it, like or not I become a personal super man that doesn't always win, or at least an old friend of mine said that once," he said with a shrug and a half smile.
Chandler smiled at him. "It's definitely going to take some getting used to...." He said. "But I'm ok with that."
Marco nodded "So come here often?" he asked
Chandler nodded. "It's where I come to get away from everyone."
Marco nodded "It must be a nice place to be alone," he said.
"Yeah...." Chandler said. "It's a good place to just think
Marco nodded in agreement "And it's just so beautiful, I take pictures for days here," he said.
"It does seem like a good place to take pictures." Chandler said.
Marco nodded "It is, but I prefer to wander around until someone or something catches my eye," he said.
