Troy had never known that dogs...any type of dogs could smile until that moment.
The 'monster' turned and trotted off, and was soon out of sight.
Courtney sighed.
"Good boy.."
She whispered
"Good boy.."
She whispered

Troy finally stepped forward.
"Wow. That was...weird. But also really amazing" he said, a grin suddenly appearing on his face.
Courtney looked up and smiled. He was still wrapped in her vines.
She stood.
"You're okay..."
She sighed with relief and looked up at him.
She stood.
"You're okay..."
She sighed with relief and looked up at him.

She nudged him " you better be sorry. I might have taken that comment offensive" she teased

He wasn't exactly sure when, as he'd been so focused on the whole dog-looks-like-it's-gonna-attack-Courtney thing.
"Yeah. And you are too"
Travis heaved a sigh.
"Well...that dog was stupid. He really took all the fun out of this!" he exclaimed, pretty disappointed.
Courtney glared.
"The dog was smart. Went away before he got hurt and maybe even died for your stupid game to break me!"
She glared

She glared

"Yeah...well whatever. Let's just get back to it"
He raised his hands.
Troy's eyes flashed with anger.
"No! Stop! Don't move, don't say anything!" he yelled, using charmspeak.
Courtney sighed.
"How do you even know Troy!?@
"How do you even know Troy!?@

He scowled, frozen in place.
"Let's go" Troy growled, grabbing onto Courtney's hand and turning.
He started walking, going as fast as he could.
It'll probably wear off soon
"But wait!? Who is he!? I don't understand Troy?... Did you do something to the guy?"
She asked
She asked

He wanted to get as far away from Travis as he could.
There would be time for talking later.
Soon, they were back out in the field.
Courtney panted.
"T...Troy?!"
"T...Troy?!"

"Yeah?" he asked, heart finally slowing down to a more normal pace.
They...they were okay now.
Unless Travis decided to follow them...
"Who... Was he?"
She whispered.
Where he had touched her... Still burned.. But she wasn't telling him that!!
She whispered.
Where he had touched her... Still burned.. But she wasn't telling him that!!

"He's a bit of a...frenemy. But more like an enemy then anything else" he began, hating himself.
How could he have put her into that situation?!
Shouldn't have come over when I recognized his voice
"Why.. Did he want me. I don't get it.."
She hugged him
She hugged him

Hate him. I hate him
Travis...he hadn't done anything to her...had he?
He pulled back, just enough so he could see Courtney's face.
"He's a jerk. A sicko. He didn't even really need a reason for wanting you"
Courtney trembled and pulled him close again hiding her face.
"I-oo.h."
"I-oo.h."

He wanted to say sorry again.
But he didn't.
Instead he let the guilt settle down on him.
"He...he didn't..."
Courtney squeezed Troy tightly
"Didn't w-what?"
She whispered
She whispered
"Oh I'm Pisces, daughter of Hermes." She said boldly.

Alice raised her eyebrows and looked " what? I don't see a diatraction!!" She laughed

He wasn't going to go there.
Pretty sure I could tell if...that had happened
He could feel people's emotions after all. If they were strong enough.
Courtney hugged him.
"He's gone.."
She whispered
"He's gone.."
She whispered

Boy was he glad for that!
"And you're fine, right?" he asked, wondering if he should loosen his arms a little.
He wasn't trying to squeeze her to death!
Really!
She nodded.
"He just.. Touched me! And I hated it!"
"He just.. Touched me! And I hated it!"

Okay...
I want to kill him
"I should have never joined that stupid gang" he murmured, more to himself then anyone else.
"Gang?"
She whispered still trembling.
She whispered still trembling.

Had he said that out loud?
Troy pulled away, dropping his arms.
"I..."
He turned around, pressing a hand to his forehead.
Such an idiot. I'm such an idiot
"Troy..."
She looked at him.
Her wrists and ankles still red from the ropes.
She looked at him.
Her wrists and ankles still red from the ropes.

He was angry with himself.
My life is so messed up
If only he could just...start over!
"Answer me Troy!"
She whispered
She whispered
She flinched slightly and blushed looking away.
"Never mind. I'll just.. G-go!"
She mumbled and hugged herself. Feeling lonely without his warmth. She tuned and began to walk away.

Alice raise..."
Archer laughed along. "Mwahaha, I got you to look."

And then he got to his senses and leaped forward, grabbing her arm and stopping her from going any further.
"Wait! I...I'll tell you"
He sounded desperate.
Desperate to keep her here. With him.
"You don't need to. You don't want to. I can tell..@

He trailed off, letting go of her.
If she wanted to leave, he didn't blame her.
I'm just ashamed
That had been the words that would have finished that almost-sentence there at the end.
Courtney stepped into his arms again hugging him.
"I like your warmth.@
She whispered@
"I like your warmth.@
She whispered@

He didn't deserve her.
He didn't deserve anyone.
And so he just stood there.
Not hugging her. Not doing anything at all really.
Just...standing.

She cross her arms " and who's the child now?"
Courtney sighed.
She knew he wasnf hugging her back and... It hurt.
"I... Troy?"
She knew he wasnf hugging her back and... It hurt.
"I... Troy?"
Courtney giggled then sighed.
"How about you go run around somewhere else and ill find you big guy?"
