2013 August Pick It For Me! Challenge
Hi Brandilyn! I just finished
. It was light & fluffy and hot & sexy, perfect for a rainy day read. A solid three star read for me, but I'm giving it an extra half star for the steamy dirty talk :-)

LOVED IT!"Yay, I'm so glad! I really need to bump KA up nearer the top of my TBR - I have a bunch of her books but I've only read one. I liked it a lot though and need to revisit her soon!

That was the last one for the Dream Series but some of the characters roll into a new series so I have added that series to my to-read shelf. I really enjoy her books

Ok Katie I just finished Down To You. I really liked the book. Nash and Cash, crazy names crazy story. I would have loved to know Marissa reaction to her cousin. Maybe in the next book in the series???? I am on to my next one of your picks just have not decided yet which one. I will let you know soon!

Glad you enjoyed it, Natalie!
Kerste -I read a 2nd book, this one from my TBR A Gentleman's Gentleman. I expected this to be cute, funny, but most of the author's efforts fell flat and some were just wrong.

I loved this book! Thanks so much for recommending it. I see what you mean when you said it made you think. It took me awhile to get through the book because I often stopped to think about things myself.
Leslie,I finished Reason to Breathe
. Wow very emotional. It drew me in immediately, I hated to put it down. As much I enjoyed it at times I found it frustrating to read. Overall I thought the author did a great job of capturing Emma's emotions. great pick!I will be continuing on with Barely Breathing

....what shall I read now????"LOL! - I already gave you a whole list...what more do you want? :D
Alexis,Finished my second pick
-I expected it to be a little better but I gave it a solid 3 stars! On to #3!!
~KarenH~ wrote: "LOL! - I already gave you a whole list...what more do you want? :D"LOL Yes you gave me a great list! Unfortunately I have several challenges going on so I have to read some books for those too...But I will be back to your selections soon I'm sure. :)
@Dee,I finished a second book
. I liked the story, and I really love books about this era for personal reasons. During WWII, My grandpa was a U.S. soldier who met my British grandmother while he was in London. I can just imagine how it felt to live through such a time. While I liked the main story of the book (Liz and Morgan), I really enjoyed Betty's story and how her character underwent tremendous personal growth by volunteering for WAC. Thanks for recommendation!

Hey Karen!
I read
and really enjoyed it. It was really sad in some parts but there was HOPE st the end. Now tackling
and I'll let you know once this one is done.
Hey Nikita I finally got my first pick finished!
was just as great as all of Hoover's other books! I'm not generally a big fan of the books from the guy's point of view just because the female authors never seem to catch a guy brain right, but I thought she did a wonderful job! Thank you for a great recommendation!
Elke wrote: "Alexis,Finished my second pick

I'm glad you loved your first pick Elke! It's a shame the third book wasn't any better for you though, but hey at least you can say you read them all! ;)

Vi, I just finished reading
a few moments ago. I give it ★★½ stars. For me, the most suspenseful and interesting parts of the book were the last couple of chapters before the epilogue. Thank you for the push to continue the series. I'll see if I can fit another book in before the month ends :D
Suzanne, I finished Once Upon a Tower a few days ago, and really enjoyed it - love that entire series! Thanks for the great picks this month...I have one left to read!

on my TBR but haven't had the chance to get to it yet.
Finished my 3rd pick
...which was a buddy read with Alexis! So bitter sweet to finish the series....but it was great...LOVED it!!!
Diane ~Firefly~,I finished my first pick
and it was great to meet familiar characters and catch up with their lives. I'm not a fan of Weisberger's writing style and I wish there would have been more of Miranda, but a decent sequel, 3 stars.
Nichole, I finished
and it was awesome, I loved it! I won't be able to read anything more this month but I'll definately going to read The Siren next month!Thank you so much for the wonderful picks!
Hi Jane(PS)!I finished a third pick
and I enjoyed it. For me, it wasn't as great as the first one in the series, but still a very good read. Thanks for all of the great picks this month! I'm not sure I will get to any more from your list this month, but I plan to get to quite a few more in the future :)
Hi ilovebakedgoods (Teresa), I got sidetracked on my way to Once Upon a Tower - again!! I finished Turn and Burn yesterday! It was a solid 4 stars for me, maybe even 4+! I really loved the MC's and enjoyed their story! I did manage to start Tower in audio on Friday, so I should finish early next week. I am hoping to get to The Next Always this month too, but I want to listen to it and am really heavy in audio this month. Unless I spend all my "reading" time "listening" and playing solitaire I am not sure how far I will get. Yeah, I suppose I could do housework too...

The I-Team series seems to be pretty polarizing...I've read 3 now and I don't get what ppl see in them - the heroines for investigative reporters have some serious TSTL moments

Sorry Brandilyn, I thought I replied but I guess not ... I'm trying to get one of these: Changing The Game, Easy, Backstage Pass, Flat-Out Sexy or Cut & Run. Which ever one I come across first.
Thanks for the great picks.
