Nadine, I should be ready to start either late tomorrow or Monday - it's kind of a crazy weekend here, but hopefully I can avoid most of it and get some solid reading time in today and tomorrow...and if I do get stuck for time I can always switch over to Wallbanger and finish what I'm currently reading I Dream of Danger) later. I really don't think that will be necessary though. :-)

I'm just waiting to finish off The Look of Love and then I'll start Wallbanger as well. It'll probably be about Wednesday I'm guessing :)

Oh Sweet. I may join in on the discussion. Thanks for letting me know. :-)

I finished reading my first pick
, it was a bit more emotional then previous books but I still loved it. I'll be reading
or
next depending on which one I can get first.
Nikita wrote: "Leslie wrote: "Hi Nikita! Here are your picks. We had some things in common and some things not but I loved looking through your shelves!! I hope I found some good books to read either now or later..."Nikita, so glad you loved it. I think I probably gave it 5 stars because it was more emotional. Love this series!! I'll be interested to hear what you think of the other two books.
I finished my first pick yesterday, Just One Kiss. It was a little too short for my taste, and parts of the storyline were pretty unbelievable, but I liked the characters and I think if it were expanded the story could be really good. Overall, it was worth the time I spent on it, but definitely had room for improvement. Thanks for the recommendation, Suzanne - Wallbanger is up next!

Hi Elke-finished my first pick
. It was 2 1/2 * for me, mostly because I really didn't like Max, the romantic lead, at the beginning and because they threw in an unnecessary and undeveloped secondary story. But having said that, I added the next book in the series to my TBR because I did like Danny :) thanks for moving this off my TBR and my kindle! I'm going to try and get a hold of one of the Molly Harper's next.
MK - i also finished The Newcomer - I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in this...it was much more of a continuation of the previous book, rather than a stand-alone...I don't think Mac/Gina who were the couple got fair amount of air-time...plus quite a bit of teenage angst
Katie wrote: "Hi Natalie! Here are my picks for you. I added some of my favorite m/m choices, in case you have any interest. If not, just ignore them! I hope you're able to find something that looks good in ..."
Hi Katie, Just finished Mystery Man and I am just getting down to choosing one of the books you chose for me. I think I am starting with Down To You. My daughter read it already and says it is pretty good so I am starting there.
Dee wrote: "MK - i also finished The Newcomer - I have to say that I was a bit disappointed in this...it was much more of a continuation of the previous book, rather than a stand-alone...I don't think Mac/Gina..."Not good to hear especially since I haven't started these yet and want to - as soon as I can fit them in... But what you describe is how I've felt about several from her Virgin River series and I still love them.
i've only read the first 2 VR's...I dunno...I was just disappointed - I think without the teen angst (view spoiler) - it might have been ok

Awesome! I hope you like it. :)
Hi Jane(PS)!I finished my first pick of yours,
and I loved it! It was a freebie I totally forgot about. Thanks so much for recommending it to me. It was short but hot, sexy and a great premise. A wife who wants to spice up her marriage and the unsuspecting and very pleasantly surprised husband. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series (I think it might actually be a serial).
I finished my first pick. The Stepsister Scheme. I couldn't really get into it too well. It was okay. I gave it three stars.
Fran wrote: "Hi Jane(PS)!I finished my first pick of yours,

Hi Pam,
That is so funny...I also just read that! Should we count it as a BR??? Lol!!
I also didn't like it very much!! I sped right through it...I was starting to like Kane and Claire's pairing better than Max & Jules. I also liked Danny...maybe cause I have a sweet tooth! ;)
I finished
and really liked it. It's a very sad and moving story, but it demonstrates the power of the human spirit. I knew that Stalin exterminated many of his own people, but I was unaware of what he did to Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. Thanks to Dee for the nudge to read this!
NicholeI finished my second pick
and enjoyed it very much, although I admit that I was expecting more.
Hey, Pam!Just wanted to update you a little: I have been reading
for a few days now. I'm hooked but my work hours have been all over-nights this past few days so I barely get to read much before I'm crashing in bed or on the couch! I'm off tomorrow so I am darn well going to finish the book. I am going to get into bed to read it now and I hope to make a big dent toward the end!
Karen HI finished
and I LOVED it! I couldn't stop laughing, it was funny and sweet a great book. I hope you are enjoying it as well. :)
Hi Raquel I tried to start The Edge of Darkness today and just could not do it. Sorry! I've decided to read
instead. And I will be reading Angelfall later this week. I'm excited!
ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) I made a detour on my way to reading Once Upon a Tower and read Full Moon yesterday. Actually finished in the wee hours this morning! I thought it was sweet and fun and am really glad for the push to read it! Thanks for picking it! I hope to get to Tower soon, probably the first of next week. And hopefully get to Turn and Burn and maybe even Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night too!
Nadine wrote: "Karen HI finished

I hope you are enjoying it as well. :)"I am definitely enjoying it, Nadine, just haven't had much reading time in the last few days - too much craziness around here. Now that things have settled down I'm hoping to be able to finish tonight or tomorrow morning, though.

I can't wait for everyone to finish it so we can start discussing it without spoiling it for others :)
Joyce Finished my first pick yesterday
this is a very intense creepy start to a series by KA. Wasn't expecting the creepy factor ~ was still awesome. I had a few issues with the H and h but still 4♥. I've already started
book #2. I've started
as well
Raquel I started and finished
today. I guess that's a sign that I liked it! Jennifer Armentrout is quickly becoming a favorite author. Such a sweet, sexy story!! My daughter's will love it as well. I'll be recommending it to them. (Though some of the scenes might make this mom blush when they read them!) Thanks for the recommendation!
Skandia, finished my first two PIFM books this month:
, which I knew I would LOVE and definitely did and now am dying for the next one! and then I read....
which.. sigh. I agree with some reviewers who said that the first 1/3 to 1/2 was just pure sexfest and grew very boring very fast - plus, I really didn't believe in the characterizations and the author didn't do much to convince me to believe in them. but it was a solid 3 star read for me. I might continue the series. either way, thanks for the push on these!
Karen HI have finished
and I loved it! It was the forth book in the Sinners on Tour series and I swear they get better and better!
I finished a second pick, Magic Lost, Trouble Found. It was another okay one. I gave it three stars. I have Evernight, Princess Ben, Through Her Eyes and Shiver. Thank you for helping me get these off my TBR.
I finished
. It made me laugh and cry and I didn't want to put it down. Thanks for the great recommendation. I'm going to read
next since I just got that one from the library.
Hi Amy J., I've finished my first 2 picks.
~ This series is okay for me, it's not my usual type. However, I'm a little in love with Roarke so he gets his own star.~4 stars
~ Loved it. Bought the t-shirt(s). I loved the humor in this book.~4 starsThanks!
Nadine wrote: "Karen HI have finished

@ Suzanne, I just discovered I've been forgetting to check in here...I've finished 3 more books! I Dream of Danger, Tin Angel, and Faefever were all ok reads, but nothing really special for me - I think I rated them all in the 3-3.5 star range. Thanks for the picks, I'm definitely not through yet! :D
@SandyI finished
- I really like Frost's world building and writing style but I'm still not feeling Cat and Bones's romance. Their chemistry has fizzled and they feel like they are simply going through the motions. The story is really good though and I'm looking forward to what happens next. Thanks for the pick!
--Shatan, thanks for the picks I've started with Beyond the Highland Misr and Ruthless first then gonna tackle Dancing at Midnight ! Love all the picks would love to try and read all!
Hi Jane(PS)!I finished a second pick,
early this morning and I loved it! What an emotional story. 5*Thanks for suggesting this gem from my tbr :)
Jane(PS),I also read
, which doesn't count for this month, but your recommended it to me last month and I didn't get to it. I did fit it in this month and I liked it. Super hot younger cop and recently divorced, inexperienced woman...nice!
Kerste --I read
and really enoyed it. 4 stars. Only the HFN prevented it from getting 5 stars from me. I am hoping that the author plans more for this couple.
Fran wrote: "Hi Jane(PS)!I finished a second pick,

*phew* Glad the picks are working out this month, Fran :)
Suzanne,I've finished 2 more picks. Wallbanger took me forever to get through thanks to outside interference but I absolutely loved it. Covet went a lot faster since I was listening to the audio version. I enjoyed it too...very fun to see all the BDB references! Next up on my list is Once Upon a Tower. :D
Dawn (Kat N Hat)I finished my second pick of the month:
. It was so clever! I just loved Charley Davidson. I've had it on my TBR for 2 years and I'm glad you gave me the push to read it. :)I'm not sure what I'll go on to next.
is still looming over me...

I'm glad that you liked it--I'll have to try that one :)

Sassafras-Thanks again for the great picks. I just finished
and loved it--such a sweet, magical story. I also finished
and really liked it--I liked that the hero has a more realistic struggle as he tries to go straight. Before that, I read
and enjoyed it. I'd forgotten how much I liked that series, and will probably read the next soon. Thanks again.

I've been looking forward to reading wallbanger for a while now, I can't wait to start it. Karen and I are doing it as a buddy read but it is also the group read this month. so there will be a thread for everyone to comment on.
