Edit my books

My husband died two weeks ago tomorrow and I have decided to change my pen name from J. S. Winn to J. K. Winn to reflect his last name which began with a K. I have new book covers with this name, but I can't seem to edit my information on goodreads or add my new covers. I'd really like help with this and can email my covers to whoever can give me a hand. Thank you so much for your help at this difficult time.

I'd love to Frank and I probably sound foolish, but I'm not sure how to attach my book covers in this format. Can you send me an email address and I'll forward them to you. Thank you so much for helping me with this. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

I, too, am very sorry for your loss. I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but since your book has already been published, unfortunately the current covers cannot be deleted (it's against GR policy). New editions can be created with your new pen name, and the new covers can be added to those and set as the default edition, but as I'm not entirely sure what the policy on author name changes, I would wait until tomorrow (when staff gets back) so someone can give you a more concrete answer on how you should proceed. I wouldn't want to see anyone getting in trouble for going against policy!

Thanks Thalia. No rush on this one. I can certainly wait to see what I can officially do.

The original name each book is published under stays the primary author for all editions. That would be J.S. Winn. For any edition published under a new pen-name, that name can be added as the second author for that edition.
