RULES:
1. You will be given a list of words to use in your writing. You must use EVERY WORD in your writing. You can use different forms of the words.
2. You can write a poem, essay or short story, but whatever you write cannot be more than 500 words or 2,500 characters. *If your characters go over I will check the word count. Word count is the main thing here. It is advised that you copy and paste from Word so that your work won't be lost while typing.*
3. When you use a word from the list it must be bolded as such. *To learn how to do this look to the upper right corner of the comment box and click on (some html is ok)*
4. A link is to be your submission. Your writing should be uploaded onto your Goodreads writing page. *To access your writing page, click on the drop down tab besides Explore at the very top of the page. Scroll down and you will see creative writing, click that. Once that page loads look above the search bar to the right of the page and click on My Writing. Once that loads click on add new writing on the right hand side and copy and paste your work. A link of this finished post is what needs to be uploaded*
5. I will check to make sure that these rules are followed. I will take 2-3 days to read through and choose winners.
6. First place will be able to choose one of our monthly reads for September and be discussion leader over it. Second place will be able to be discussion leader for one of the MRs. Third place will be able to choose the theme for a contest. Click here for more information on being a discussion leader. You will get Points for joining the competition and for placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
