Cleaning a mess (different books, messed comments)

Hi

While searching for some reviews of a book, i've stumbled on a messed up combination of different books all merged as if they were all the same work. I've noticed it when i've started to read the comments, as they were made to different works and authors.
This given, i would like to separate and organise them, but before doing so, it would be nice to know how will this affect the comments. There are a lot of them, as the merge was made between 7 or 8 different works, summing up to 14 different works and editions.

I think I separated them all out correctly.

When editions are separated the reviews and comments will go with the edition the user reviewed.

IF they reviewed the wrong edition then there is nothing a librarian can do about it

Almost :)
I've finished it.

Some comments stayed with the right work, others got mixed. Would like to understand why, but can't find a logic exlplanation for it.
