So, when Hermione starts crying about Mad-Eye being dead, Ron comforts her by asking what he would say to them if he were there right then. She, of course, said, "Constant vigilance." Did you ever notice that the real Mad-Eye Moody never actually said that? Only Barty Crouch Jr. said that when he was being Mad-Eye Moody. The real Moody never said that. Did anyone else notice this?

Well maybe. I think that he studied Moody' s character including things he would say. We never get to know the Real Moody all that well and and he could have been known by others to say it. Many people have catch phrases, things they say all the time, and it would be smart for an imposter to uphold. But it is an interesting thing to wonder.
