message 40: by Nicolas (new)

Nicolas Wilson | 10 comments Crystal: Known it. Even factoring in the letdown of losing my wife, I wouldn't want to give up the things she's taught me that are completely unrelated to our romantic lives together.

Meri: Slugs. At least they feel kinda like a tongue, so it would be easier to shut my eyes and avoid thinking about it.

Would you rather never be able to sleep , or always fall asleep when important stuff is going on?

message 42: by Nicolas (new)

Nicolas Wilson | 10 comments Well, it's always the most fun being in the gutter. Plus, you can throw muck at those who aren't in the gutter, and they squeal so delightfully.

I was specifically thinking about how much more thoughtful she's made me as a writer, and reader. I learn something new every time we talk about a story together, and my writing is so much more fulfilling with her input, and the critical eye she's taught me to apply to my own thought processes.

"Important" is relative, and it's more fun talking about it after the fact, instead of having in-the-moment pressure to act. I could be asleep for it.

Would you rather only be able to talk using email or text, or only be able to talk using a notebook shown to your conversational partner in person?

message 43: by Crystal (new)

Crystal Taylor (ctaylor517) Utopia. I would love to be worry free for once.

Would you rather server a life sentence with no parole or death penalty? I know morbid but the Ariel Castro thing made me think of it.

message 49: by H.J. (new)
