So, After an hour's work, I have compiled a list of the Newbery Medal Winning books. (So wish me good luck when I start with all of the Honor books. There are way more of them!) If you want to see it, click this link. My question for you is, of the 91 medal-winning books, (not the honor books. That will be a separate topic that I post once I have that list posted) how many have you read?

Personally, I have only read 10, although there were five or six that I started and couldn't stand because they seemed so boring and horrible, so I gave up on them.

How about you guys? Take a look at the list and tell us how many you've read!

Raven (howlisawesome) I have read Holes, a Wrinkle in Time, Bud Not Buddy, Maniac Magee, and Number the stars. I'd have to say my favorite was Number the Stars. Bud not Buddy was my second favorite but I read it awhile ago and should probably read it again. Maniac Magee was good, but kind of confusing. I recently finished A Wrinkle in time and really liked it. Holes was okay, but not my favorite. I've never chosen a Newbery Medal book to read. I've only read them because they were assigned reading. And although I'd never choose to pick one up out of the blue, I'm kind of glad I did read them. Even the ones I didn't really like.

Some of the ones i read were assigned, too, but others I just chose to read. I recently figured out that last year, literally every book except one or two was a Newbery Honor Book or a Newbery Medal Winner.
