Um... Fantasy, mystery, thriller, friendship, and I really like just one novel books, instead of series, at the moment, at least.

I have a random question: A book that got you into being a book reader? I don't know why I asked this question, but it just popped into my mind.

Ah yes, standalone novels are great. :D But tragic when they finish.
Mmm. Maybe I should write a detective story. I'm rather fond of a nice whodunit with a flawed hero and a couple of good twists.

Hmm! Good question. Umm. Mossflower. My mum had read a lot of stuff to us as kids, including this series, but I hadn't really read anything substantial: only little skinny chapter books. Picking Mossflower up got me excited about reading and made me realise I could read more than I had been. I loved it.
And then The Lightning Thief a bit later. Before then I'd only been reading books about animals, and PJ got me reading about people, too - broadened my horizons. ;)

That's wonderful! (I seriously do not know how you do it; the link thing with the words.) Wow, i'm kind of the same! The Magic Half by Annie Borrows was the very first fantasy book that was longer than 31 pages; it got me into the love of reading! But only fantasy books. . .
I'm assuming were now talking about what broaden our horizon? The book, I kind of, recently read and loved was Every Soul is a Star by Wendy Mass. It was the very first book I ever read that wasn't about fairies, secret places, warriors, trolls, enemies, and heroes. Unfortunately, at the moment, I'm only into realist fiction books, not a lot of fantasy anymore XD :P I lost my fantasy streak TT-TT

Ooh, I know some people that wear or wore braces; I can barely ever tell they have braces. After all, you don't look at people's teeth, you look at their eyes! Also braces are kind of cool to wear, the people I know have all these mismatched color braces.

The pain don't even last long...what am I talking about, I wouldn't even class that as pain! It's very mild. Every time I get my braces tightened I couldn't eat for a day but that was it. I had mine for about a year and a half.

Stereotype much! Braces aren't the definition of geek you know. Braces are cool as u get to change the colours and you will end up with a perfect smile! It doesn't matter what people think, be proud of wearing it!

Uh . . . dunno about genius. ;) Not full plots. I have a sort of dystopian-ish idea which may turn out to be novel or screen-worthy . . . and also a 1800s detective story, only problem being I, um, have no idea what actually happened. I'm as clueless as the characters.

Haha! XD I'm not alone! It happens to me all the time! The thing you need to do is kind of just "Brainstorm." Usually think of tragedy, accident, heartbreak, evil twin, etc. Ooh, dystopian, woohoo! The 1800s detective . . . Hmm, this seems familiar. . . Sounds like a Sherlock Holmes inspired detective story? Nice (different adjective than cool and neat)!

Eheheh. Yeah, sorta. Actually, it's not really a detective story, because the two main characters aren't actually detectives; they're young bachelors in 19th century London, trying to solve the mystery behind the death of their fathers, and how they were connected. That's about as much as I've got, though, because I have no idea how, when, and where they died. :P
