Marissa walks into the bookstore after Riley. "hey, do you have any recommendations?"

"Thanks, I'll check it out." Marissa said quietly back and went to go browse.

"Oh, do you work here?" Marissa asks as she walks up to the counter with a book in hand.
"What does your brother look like? I have been here before, I was just wondering."
"I think I have seen him. I bet I sound really stalker-ish right now." Marissa said, looking away.
"Ok, I am glad that I wasn't this time. Yeah, I am checking this out. Here." She said as she handed over the book.

Marissa took out her coin purse and brought out 12 dollars. "Here is that, thank you for the recommendation!!"
"So, I am new here. What grade are you in?" Marissa says taking the book and change.
"I am 15, so 11th. Do you mind showing me around town one day after work? You know, to get to know the town."
"Great, should I stick around or scram for the last half?"
"I will stay. You know, check out all of the books and stuff." Marissa said, taking a seat in the big comfy chair in the corner.

A half an hour pasts as Marissa stays in the corner, reading her new book. She then watches Riley get ready to leave. "Are you ready?"

"Oh, that is embarrassing!! I am Marissa! And you are?" She asks.
"Alright. So what is your background? Have you lived here forever?" Marissa said, while walking.
"I think I used to live there when I was younger! I had pictures! Where did you live?"
"Ok, I used to live in Green Cove Springs, I think. I am pretty sure that we moved when I was 12. I don't remember."
"Yeah." Marissa hops in the car.
"Ok, yeah. I know what that means. Sure."
"Not to be nosy or anything, but why are you pulling your sleeves down?"
"Oh. Well, since you told me something, do you want me to tell you something?"
"No, I want you to know. I don't tell people that I am not close with, but I want to be friends with you so..."
"Well, you may have noticed that i don't know some things about my past, right?"
" Well, when I was 13, I was being stupid and I was on the roof, away from everyone else. I am clumsy, so I took a tumble, and fell off the roof, on my head. A week later I woke up in the hospital. I didn't remember anything. My family, friends, anything. I have had to restart my whole life, new friends, because I guess I changed. I never really thought if I forget things, it wouldn't be hard, but it is. I wanted to tell you this because if I ever seem clueless, it may be that, or it may just be me!" Marissa admits.
"Ok, let's go in and see Britt."

Marissa opened the door and climbed out, and slammed the door. "Oops!!" She then started towards the door.
"Alright, I guess so. At least I hope so." Marissa then reaches the door and pulls on the door, she keeps pulling and pulling. It still won't open. "What is up with this door?"
"Oops, I did it again." Marissa says sheepishly. She pushes open the door and walks in.

As we reached the counter, Marissa just looks around, getting the whole room's look in her head.

"Lee? Hmmm, i think i am going to come up with something else..."
"Yep, we decided to leave, ya know..."
"I am Marissa, I am new here!!"
"Yeah, I was pretty sure you would notice that. That is me being the idiot here!"
"Britt, do you have milkshakes?"
"Ok, I will have a banana milkshake with a small fry."
"Riley, it's fine. I will pay. It's only $12.00."
"ok...... next time, it's on me."
Once the girls reach the blue table and sit down, Marissa waits a second to take her food. "Is this table your table? Or is it just a regular old table?"
"I was just wondering, because you came directly towards it."
"Ko!! I do like it back here as well..." Marissa says while picking up a fry and dipping it in the milkshake.
