What do you think of J.K. Rowling's decision to release her new novel using a pseudonym?

Are you going to read it?

Kelli (kelli413) | 17 comments I'm going to give it a try. I think it received good reviews. I didn't like Casual Vacancy, but this one may be different.

Peggy | 4 comments I can't believe I'm so shallow that I (probably) wouldn't have read it before, but now I might! In a way, it's too bad she was outed, but someone has suggested it could have been by her publicist or publisher!

I know what you mean, Peggy. I read mysteries but I don't read a lot of private eye books so even if I'd stumbled across the glowing reviews it got before the big reveal, I wouldn't have read it.

Now, yes, of course I'm going to give it a try.

I just finished it and I really enjoyed it. The main character is intriguing and I liked the relationship between Strike and Robin, his assistant.

Without all the publicity, I would have certainly missed it and that makes me wonder what other good reading is passing me by.

Rainey I finished it two weeks ago and loved it. I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. Also loved the relationship between Strike and his assistant Robin.

I actually enjoyed Casual Vacancy (must be one of the few that did).

Kelli (kelli413) | 17 comments I finished Cuckoo's Calling a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it as well. I'm so glad that she was revealed as the author as I would probably have missed it. Too many books and so little time.
