Not into the book...What do you do?

I am fairly new to the RRR challenges and I love them! The challenges help me to decide which book to read next. However, I am finding if difficult to connect with a few of my challenge books. My question is, if you are not into your chosen challenge book what do you do?

It depends how painful it is for me to finish it. LOL! I won't torture myself with a book just to satisfy a challenge. If I can, I'll power through but if it's really bad I'll DNF and pick a new book.
