(view spoiler)[ Wow, I was not expecting Daito to die. I’m basing way too much of this off my knowledge of the movie, and because he didn’t die there, I just figured he’d make it out alive. So far, I’m actually preferring the movie, all the characters had more development, and I preferred the quests. Everything just seems to come way too easily to Wade, it’ll take him months, and then everything just makes perfect sense (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I didn’t hate this, I just done care about it. After watching the movie, I had really expected great things, not this. I guess I never got drawn into the story, it all just felt so obscure to me. Part of it may be that I know nothing about the 80s, so all the references just felt like a waste of my time. Also, I didn’t really like or feel anything towards any of the characters, which is never a good thing. Even the villain was just a cardboard cutout, with the most ridiculous motivations ever. They need to have some driving force other than power, there’s always something else (hide spoiler)]
