Ingrid smiled. "Good," she said with a nod. ((Okay! BYESSSS!))
Danny smiled and looked around at the busy paths. "It's nice coming here." He told her. "I love how busy it is."
"Me too. I like the noise. I can drown in my thoughts if I want to," Ingrid said with a sigh.
Danny glanced at her. "What do you mean?"

Ingrid shrugged. "I like to sit and listen to people sometimes. Just close my eyes and I get to remind myself that I'm not alone... If that makes sense."
Danny nodded and took her hand softly. "Well, now you know you're not." He said to her.
Ingrid smiled down at his hand. "Thanks," she murmured. "You're not alone, either. You got me." She nudged him gently.
Danny smirked. "Well, thanks." He nudged her back and then ate another bean. "Hmm... Some kind of berry I think."
"Oh, really? Lemme try and find some like that." Ingrid dug around in the bag and found a red one. "Ooh, strawberry!"
Danny laughed at her reaction. "Let's see..." He trailed off and looked around. He found a light blue one and ate it.
"Oh, Merlin." He shuddered. "Tastes like cough syrup!"

Ingrid laughed. "Poor you." She glanced at the sky. "C'mere a sec." She took his hand and led him over to a grassy part of the lawn. She sprawled on the ground and pointed to the sky. "I like to watch clouds. Join me." Ingrid patted the space next to her.
Danny smiled happily and laid beside her, their shoulders touching. He watched the sky, as clouds rolled by, and every so often his eyes would dart quickly to and away from Ingrid.
Ingrid smiled at the clouds. "Blue is my favorite color. That's why I love looking at the sky." She glanced at Danny and caught him staring at her.
Danny looked quickly back at the sky.
"Blue, eh? It is a beautiful color. No wonder you love the sky." He smiled at her. "Mine is silver."

Ingrid smiled at that. "That's different. But pretty... Why is it your favorite?" ((I gotta go Dx I'll be back later, though! See ya!))
"It's just such a unique color." He replied, his fingers brushing hers as he shifted slightly closer to her.

((I'm baaaack!))Ingrid nodded, but smiled softly when he touched her and moved closer. "It is," she agreed.
Danny turned his head to look at her.
"I've had an awesome day so far. I'm sure it'll only get better, considering you're here." He smiled.

Ingrid blushed. "Is that so? Hm, well I feel the same way. It's good to finally have friends."
Danny nodded. "Yeah. Even if it is just one for me. I'm good."
Ingrid laughed. "Well I'm honored to be your only friend," she teased. "I must be special."
"Quite." Danny replied, nudging her hand with his again, this time on purpose.

((Okay!))Ingrid smiled and snatched his hand up. She flattened her palm against his. "Your hand is bigger than mine," she announced with a small smile.
Danny smiled and squeezed her hand. "I would hope so. You're intimidating enough." He joked.
Ingrid laughed. "Gee, thanks. Glad you think so. Y'know, most guys call girls nice, or pretty. Not intimidating."
"Well you are both. And intimidating. That's what I like about you." He closed his fingers around hers and squeezed her hand.
Ingrid blushed a little, but smiled. "Thank you." She smiled at his hand around hers.
Danny kissed her hand, then looked back up at the sky.
((Awe!)) Ingrid's heart raced when she felt his lips against her hand. Did he like her? Like like her?! Or was it just a friendly kiss? Should she ask him? No, that would be stupid... She argued with herself for a moment before looking at him. "Have you ever fallen in love?" She asked quietly, nervously.
Danny smiled, keeping his eyes on the sky.
"No. I may be, but I dunno yet. What about you?" He asked, meaning her. Even though they'd just met, he felt close to her.

"I may be, too," she admitted softly, meaning him. Ingrid wasn't the type to rush into a relationship or anything, but she was starting to really like-- maybe even love, Danny. He just made her happy.
Danny darted his eyes over to her and smiled.
"This girl that I know, she's quite beautiful." He meant her, and he nudged her.

Ingrid glanced at him. Did he mean her? "The guy I like is really handsome," she said, grinning. "But very sarcastic."
"Sarcasm isn't necessarily a bad thing." He smirked and winked. "But this girl is very cool. And unique."
Ingrid grinned. "Oh, really? Well, this boy is cool, too. *and* also, very unique. He's also brave and smart, in my opinion."
"Probably not smarter or braver than this girl though." Danny smirked and looked at her face.
"I doubt that." Ingrid glanced at him watching her. She propped herself up on her elbow and looked properly at him. "I really think I like this boy, even if I just met him. But, maybe I'm scared he'd let me down. Like the last boy I was involved with."

Danny looked up at her and put his hand on her cheek.

Ingrid studied his face. "Really? You promise?" She whispered.
Danny nodded. "I've lost enough people to know what it feels like. And I would never, ever want that to happen to you." He whispered.
Ingrid smiled softly. "I wouldn't want you to be hurt either."
Danny smiled and brushed her hair back.
"Well then if you must know, you're the girl." He muttered, smirking, knowing she knew.

Ingrid laughed softly. "And you're the boy. But you probably figured that out by now."
Danny laughed and stroked her cheek. "Really? Told you you were smarter, I didn't even know." He teased.
Ingrid rolled her eyes. "Yes you did," she chided. "And I meant every word," she said softly.
