How to setup FREE book on NOOK

Based on the Nook Press terms and conditions, the minimum list price is 0.99, but B&N have the right to discount any book to below list. So it looks like the free Nook Books are those selected by B&N to be free, or those they are price matching from another retailer.
It's worth noting that I just went to their page to look at the T&C, and they don't seem to directly link to the free selection anymore. IIRC, they used to have a link to free books, but I'm not seeing one now. (Been a while since I've been on there, though.)

(IMHO) I read that B&N is being discontinued and the NOOK will no longer be manufactured. Unfortunately, Amazon has captured more than 80% of the market. Print copies are great for B&N along with other retailers, but personally, I've lost faith in pursuing the NOOK user.
Latest reports state that they are going to continue development and manufacturing of the eink models themselves, and are handing off the tablet line to third-party partners. I wouldn't count them out yet.

So, here is the question. Nook only allows my books to be .99 cents as the lowest price. Yet they have a free Nook Book section.
After chatting with them, I was told they would have to escalate my question.... yeah! I haven't heard from them since.
Has anyone else had success setting up a free book direct? If so, can you let me in on the secret???
Thanks!
