Seed | 20 comments If you guys could meet any of SK's characters, who would it be? For me, I wouldn't mind grabbing a beer with Eddie Dean or Ted Brautigan.

As for any of his locations, I wouldn't mind seeing what Blue Heaven looked like. But I'm keeping my ass outta Castle Rock.

Squire (srboone) | 92 comments I guess Susannah Dean would make a fine dinner companion and allow for some interesting conversation.
As would Lisey Landon.

And there's a couple of used bookstores in the DT series I wouldn't mind brousing through.

Pal around with Jack Torrance all you want. See how long you survive.

Chris ( librocubicularist ) King | 152 comments Ace Merrill ...just for a glance at those 'boots' or maybe The man who would not shake hands.....

Randy Eberle | 92 comments Richie Tozier in Derry would be good times. :-)

Matthew Behling (MattyKB) | 109 comments I'll grab a beer with Wireman on the beach at Duma Key.

Forgot about him. I'll join you, if I may.

Randy Eberle | 92 comments I also wouldn't mind a date with Charlie McGee all grown up...though I'll be sure to choose my words carefully. Lol

Chris (bibliophile85) | 83 comments I would love to meet Roland Deschain of course.

Glenn Bateman from The Stand seem like someone I could see myself being friends with in real life. Ditto Jud Crandell

Lanie (icevamp) | 145 comments Henry Leyden, definitely first pick. (He's from Black House). Chris Chambers & Gordie LaChance would also be a fun conversation.

Gavin (thewalkingdude) | 244 comments Meeting Roland would be interesting. Or meeting The Walking Dude (my favorite of his aliases)-- it would scary, but kinda exciting too.

As for locations. Either Boo'ya Moon or Can'-Ka No Rey would be awesome. Or, being reckless, jumping in the Buick 8 to see where it leads.

Great picks!

Lanie (icevamp) | 145 comments When Betts Bookstore was still in existence in Bangor, Maine, the owner gave us a map. There were places you could go that inspired stories. It would be cool to have a Stephen King theme park so you could literally all through your favorite locales in stories, like The Overlook Hotel, the Barrens, Carrie White's prom, pet Semetary, Annie Wilkes' house, a trail for The Long Walk...etc.

message 16: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Leoni | 180 comments I'd like to hang out with Cuthbert from The Dark Towe, and have a whole night out of jokes and beer, and maybe wait for Ted Brautigan to tag along. I wouldn't mind going on a date with Carol Gerber from Heart in Atlantis, or Susan Delgado from the Dark Tower, but I wouldn't do it to Roland!

I'd like to visit the Barren of Derry, Zihuatanejo, and the raintracks from Stand by me..
