Can't delete dummy photo for book cover.

I'm about to release a new book and I set up a dummy image for it. I have the official cover for my book and I want to delete the dummy image and upload the new image.
When I tried to delete the old image I received a pop up notification that said only librarians can delete the image.

I've also read that I may have to set up a new addition in order to change the image and set the new addition as default? Is that true?

I was hoping that it could be a simple delete, and then upload the image that I want.

Anyway if anyone here could clarify and tell me what to do I would be extremely grateful.
