July: The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda

So, I'm having a tough time with this book. I usually like to read a good 100 pages in a book before I give an opinion but...I'm having trouble even getting to that point. I am currently on page 64 and I have been reading this book for about 4 days now. I am a fast reader for the most part, but this story just isn't catching my attention. Is anyone else having the same issues?

It took me forever to really get into this book, and by the time I did i was near the end. I do think the ending was really nice and is what made me decide to read the sequel. Hopefully The Prey is better.

Finished the book earlier today! Honestly, when I first started it, I was really creeped out. But the weirdness of the story grew on me and really drew me in the last third of the book. I didn't really start liking it until half way through. The ending was SO GOOD (in my opinion). Because I really enjoyed it when the pace started to pick up, I wanted to give it 4 stars. And then the ending came... it pushed me to 5 stars. Take the book for what it is- pretty creepy- and just enjoy the story. Looking forward to picking up the sequel!
